VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />MINNESOTA <br />MINUTES OF VILLAGE ELECTION <br />C 1 3 2 <br />-� f <br />s � <br />A special meeting was held in the Village Office, 5499 Adams St., <br />Now Brighton Minnesota to canvass the votes of the village election <br />of December 6, 1960. The meeting was called to order at 7 :30 p.m. on <br />December &, 1960 by Mayor Crane with the following members present: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk : <br />Trustee: <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Earl E. Smith <br />Melford C. Christensen <br />Donald B. Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />At the Annual Village Election of the Village of Mounds View in <br />the County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held at Red Oak School, <br />Pin,-,.wood School, and Messiah Lutheran Church, being the place where <br />.te was directed to be held by the Village Council after giving due <br />notice thereof as provided by law, on the 26th day of November, 1960, <br />and appointed nine qualified voters of said Village to act as Judges <br />of such Election in three precincts, each of whom had within twenty <br />days before such time been designated and appointed by the Village <br />Council to act as Judges of such election (a) Ada Sopkowiak, Ramona <br />Thompson, Maxine Benesch, Bernice Schaffhausen, Bernice Ehlers, Lila <br />Hauberg, Mary Pearson and Idamae Larson, who, being present, at the <br />hour of 7:00 o'clock A.M., each of them duly took and subscribed an <br />oath or affirmation to faithfully discharge the duties required of them <br />at such Election; and the said Judges =Lk being duly qualified, forth- <br />with opened the polls by pro clamatian, and the Election proceeded by <br />ballot without adjournment or intermission until closed. <br />The subjects voted on at such Election, as stated in the Notice <br />thereof, were to elect: <br />1 Village Clerk <br />1 Trustee <br />1 Justice of the Peace <br />and to cast the ballot on the question "Shall Optional Plan A, the standard plan of village" government by providing for the <br />appointment by the mnincil of the clerk, treasurer and assessor, be <br />adopted for the government of the village?" <br />At 8:00 o'clock in the afternoon of said day the polls were closed, <br />proclamation thereof having been made by one of the Judges thirty minutes <br />previous thereto. The Judges then proceeded to publicly count and can- <br />vass the vies, and a true statement thereof was duly proclaimed to the <br />voters by the Clerk who recorded the same in the Village Minute Book. <br />STATEMENT OF RESULT OF CANVASS <br />The following is a true statement of the result of the co.nting <br />and canvass of votes by ballot at the Annual 'village Election of the <br />Village of Mounds View, County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held <br />December 6, 1960, as proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk of Election: <br />(1) <br />
