06139 <br />Mr. Skiba was instructed to supply the village with a Certificate of Insurance <br />on his truck. Clerk Smith brought up the subject of insurance on the other inspec- <br />tor=s cars. They, txx are also instructed to bring in Certificate of Insurance. <br />Motion by Crane, seconded by Christensen to adopt the Resolution classifying <br />Certain Lands as Non—Conservation Lands. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />After discussion, motion by Crane, seconded by Hodges to hire the Minnesota <br />Management Consultant Service to survey administrative procedures in the village <br />office. Christensen, Hodges and Crane, aye; Malvin and Smith, No. Motion carried. <br />Motion was then made by Hodges, seconded by Crane that the village spend not <br />more than $250.00 for this survey. Smith, Christensen, Crane, Hodges aye; Malvin, <br />no. Motion carried. <br />Hodges moved, Christensen seconded to approve payment of Bills for which the <br />claims have been signed. Christensen, Smith, Crane, Hodges, aye; Malvin, no. <br />Motion carried. <br />Discussion followed on the amoung of the check made out to Frank Slipka and also <br />what to do with a bill for groceries submitted by the Civil Defense Unit. Motion <br />by Malvin, seconded by Hodges to have the Civil Defense pay their own grocery bills. <br />Christensen, and Smith, abstain; Crane, Hodges and Malvin, aye; Motion carried. <br />Clerk Smith turned over information to the Attorney with which to prepare a <br />resolution to place the water assessment back on the tax rolls on the property of <br />Emil T. Pearson at 7+55 Knollwood. maxmamg Smith stated that he check in payment <br />for this assessment had returned from the bank showing payment had been stopped. <br />Smith also stated that he had called Mr. and Mrs. Pearson and they wished to place <br />the assessment back on the tax rolls. Motion by Crane seconded by Smith to have <br />the Attorney prepare a resolution for this purpose. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Clerk Smith reported that he was informed that the BTbinski's intend to sell <br />their duplexes under the impression that said duplexes can be made into fourplexes. <br />The council stated that they would watch for advertising on this matter and take <br />formal action then is such is done. <br />Clerk Smith asked permission to transfer certain bills paid from the General <br />Fund into the Water Fund which should have been paid out of that fund, The council <br />concurred and granted permission. <br />Mayor Crane announced that the Council will hold a meeting at the village <br />office on Tuesday, January 3, 1961 at 7:00 p. m. to conduct certain required <br />business.
