Mayor Crane instructed <br />the clerk to contact Mr. Dalhberg and request the money to be in <br />the Village Treasury by July 24th Mayor Crane instructed the clerk <br />to order an arrow street sign from the County to be placed facing <br />Hillview at the intersection of Spring Lake Park Road and Hillview. <br />The Street Fund account was brought upj .Referring to a request <br />from Mr. Gibson to transfer money from the General Fund to the <br />Street Fund. Trustee Christensen informed the Council that he would <br />contact the clerk, Mr. Blanchard, about this matter. <br />Mayor Crane instructed the Village .A=ttorney -Mr_. 2 +eyers to check <br />'On the proposed streets. <br />The matter of the Water Improvement Project 1961 -1 extension <br />of the 6" lateral mains was discussed. The following streets were <br />included in the Engineers report: <br />Red Oak Drive - Sherwood Road to County Road "J" <br />Fairchild Ave. Hillview Road to Sherwood Road <br />Greenwood Drive i Sherwood Road to Hillview Road <br />Hillview Road - Woodlawn Drive to Edgewood Drive <br />TH #10 - Groveland St. to Spring Lake Park Road <br />County Rd H2 - Fairchild Ave. to 1200 feet East <br />Eastwood Raod - Woodcrest Drive to Joodale Drive <br />Woodale Drive - Woodcrest Drive to Greenwood Drive <br />Motion by Christensen that the Council order Water Improvement <br />Project #1961 -1; instruct the Engineers to draw the final plans and <br />specifications for this project. Publish the notification bids <br />on the 13th and the 20th of July and open the bids on July 24th. <br />Motion seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes for approval. <br />Motion by Crane to pass the Septic Tank Ordinance controlling <br />the disposition of sewage submitted by the Village Attorney. <br />Motion seconded by Malvin. After considerable discussion the <br />motion and second were withdrawn. The attorney was instructed to <br />insert a proposed amendment in which the police or building <br />inspector would be required to sign complaints against offenders, <br />and return the revised Ordinance for consideration at the next <br />meeting. <br />The Council approved the following for water connection charges <br />where service is not in at the curb that is new homes, at lots <br />where streets must be torn up to make connections or on lot <br />subdivisions where hookup was not originally made. A total cost of <br />;175. which includes ;>100.00 hook -up; 15.00 permit; 130.00 meter <br />deposit; 115.00 tapping; 25.00 corporation cock and shut off cock.* <br />The owner to supply labor, copper tubing,and street repair, <br />*The Corporation cock and shut off cock can be purchased <br />privately or from Village, but must be according to Village <br />specifications. <br />The Brooklyn Park Sanitary Sewer Resolution was noted. <br />Trustee Hodges reported that the Park and Playground'"Comttission <br />would meet in the Village office at 8 :00 P.M. on July 12th. <br />
