.4- <br />August 28th Council Meeting (coni t) <br />The Engineer was instructed to write a letter to the Highway Dept. <br />regarding proposed Highway 10 and also regarding the proposal for <br />interstate 35W. <br />Motion by Crane to send work order to County to have Gloria <br />Circle shaped, oiled and sanded. Seconded by Hodges. 5 ayes. <br />The storm sewer conduit from Hillview to Spring Lake was referred <br />to the Sept. 5th agenda meeting for further study. <br />Motion by Christensen to approve change order on Deep Nell #2 <br />relating to pipe size and open hole size as recommended by Village <br />Engineer. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve Est. #3 on deep well #2 for Layne <br />Minnesota Co. in the amount of $9,594.72 and other bills presented. <br />Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Crane to approve building permit #87 -61 to concur with <br />Building Inspectors recommendation. Seconded by Christensen. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr, Robert Edmond, electrical inspector, stated that he had red <br />tagged a home with sub - standard wiring but felt that the house would <br />be brought up to standard after talking with the owners. <br />0Q0126 <br />Mr. Malvin was excused at 11:15 P.M. <br />The temporary office space in the utility building may be ready <br />within two months, the Engineer reported. <br />A Resolution regarding a modification of assessments was read. <br />Motion by Crane to adopt Resolution #83. Seconded by Christensen. <br />4 Ayes, <br />A Resolution approving the Statue which establishes that Ramsey <br />County Municipal Officers Association and authorizes payment of dues <br />was presented. Motion by Crane.to adopt Resolution. Seconded by <br />Christensen. 4 Ayes. <br />Malvin returned at 11:15. <br />Motion by Christensen that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to <br />enter into an escrow agreement with the D.W. Hickey Co. for the <br />Village of Mounds View. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Malvin to have the Civil Defense men assist the Police <br />Department as needed on Labor Day week -end. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes, <br />Motion by Blanchard to authorize purchase of Remington Electric <br />typewriter for the Village office for the price of $135.00. Seconded <br />by Christensen, 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses presented(list att.). <br />Seconded by Christensen. 5 Ayes. <br />
