�2- <br />Sept,, llth, 1961 Council Meeting(con't) <br />',_-Several complaints were reported regarding the gas installation in <br />the Village. <br />The clerk was instructed to notify N.S.P. of these complaints and <br />request prompt attention and correction. <br />The Attorney reported on the Hillview Easement. He stated Mr. Hugo <br />Bjorkman felt that he should be repaid, for the approximate one(1) acre <br />the Village desires, in the amount of $1 +000.00. No action was taken. <br />The Attorney then reported on the proposed storm sewer from Gloria <br />Circle to Hillview Road and Spring Lake. He stated that the Village <br />could not assess benefited property owners outside of the Village with- <br />out the other Villages permission, and that the other Village would have <br />to do their own assessing if they were willing. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write a letter to the Spring Lake Park <br />Village Council and Engineer regarding this matter. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses submitted(list att.). <br />Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted(list att.). Seconded by <br />Malvin. 3 Ayes. <br />The meeting was recessed at 8 :45 P.M. The Mayor called the meeting <br />to order at 9:05 P.M. <br />000134 <br />The Engneer reported on the proposed storm sewer tile at North West <br />corner of Woodcrest and Red Oak Dr. <br />Motion by Blanchard to send a work order to the County to install <br />drain tile at northwest corner of Red Oak Drive and Woodcrest Dr. per <br />specs. from the Village Engineer. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. <br />Motion by Hodges to have the Village Engineer prepare bids for <br />conduit for the northwest corner of Red Oak and Woodcrest' Dr. and to <br />submit said bids for publication. Said bids to be opened Monday, <br />Septmeber 25th at 8 :00 P.M. Seconded by Blanchard. 3 Ayes. <br />The subject of water on Fairchild Ave. was discussed at some length. <br />The Attorney was instructed to obtain an easement of 15 ft. on the <br />West side of Fairchild Ave. from Highway 10 to Sherwood Rd. <br />Mr. Fred Rudloph, 8084 Fairchild Ave., stated that on his easement <br />he desired that he be allowed split his lot into three(3) equal lots of <br />90X150 ft. and that the easement should stipulate that there would be <br />no further easement on this property. <br />A Resolution for adopting special assessments for Water Works <br />Improvement No. 1960 -3 was read, <br />Motion by Malvin to adopt said Resolution. Seconded by Hodges. <br />3 Ayes. <br />Mr. V. Sinderson raised several questions regarding the abandonment <br />of the Fairchild Ave.portion of Water Project 1961 -1 and was informed <br />that the Council was now reconsidering this matter. <br />Motion by Malvin to adjourn.
