-3 - <br />Novemer 27th Council meeting(con't) <br />000173 <br />He commended the Mounds View Police and Civil Defense for doing an <br />excellent job on motor vehicle; check. Chief Grabowski received the award. <br />He- distributed and explained the annual inventory of traffic safety <br />activities for Mounds View 1960. sTh s . ise.an annual Progress- Rdport <br />recommended by the President's Committee for traffic safety. <br />The Mayor thanked Mr. Stanton on behalf of the Council and <br />the Village for taking the time to present this award and information <br />to the Village. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve a license for Otto Husnik for <br />the purpose of Sewer contracting. Second by Christensen. 5 ayes. <br />The matter of Hillview Rd. from Highway z,to Quincy was <br />brought up on a petition and discussed at some length. <br />Mr. Warren Hertenstein, 2202 Hillview, stated that this road <br />was a hazard to. pedestrians and motorists both, due to its width and <br />rough condition. <br />Mr. Christensen stated that the road had been worked on this <br />year, but the job apparently was not satisfactory. <br />The matter was referred to Mr. Christensenwith instructions t <br />to contact the County Engineer on this matter and to see if it could be <br />worked on yet this year. <br />Motion by Malvin to adjourn.
