Public Welfare - supervise health conditions, care of under privileged <br />maintain public building and Village personal propertyi <br />and arrange civic affairs. <br />Trustee Malvin, Chairman <br />Trustee Hodges <br />Clerk Blanchard <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 ayes, <br />The Clerk's office is to write a letter to all appointees <br />informing them their appointment and of the time and place of their <br />next meeting. <br />Mr. Chuck Larson, 7880 Groveland, appeared regarding a <br />proposed four -plex on County Road H -2. After considerable discussion <br />the following action was taken. Motion by Crane that sub - division <br />regulations be waived for a four -plex to be built by J &W Developers <br />and that building permit applicant submit to Clerk lot plan showing <br />legal description, dimensions, building set backs, location of drive- <br />way and off street parking, location of water curb stop and other <br />pertinent information. Building permit will be issued when lot plan is <br />recommended for approval by Planning Commission Chairman and when <br />building specifications are recommended for approval by Building Inspector. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Crane to accept petition for water main extension <br />on County Rd. H -2 and to refer it to Village Engineer. Seconded by <br />Blanchard. 5 ayes. <br />The Village Engineer and Mr. Malvin were instructed to <br />investigate suitable ways to suppress the echo in the new village hall <br />and to report at the next regular meeting. <br />A chart regarding tax rates was received from the County <br />Assessor. The Mounds View homestead rate for 1962 is 234.09 mills, an <br />increase of 34.46 mills, of this increase 27.04 is for schools, 3.57 for <br />County services, and 4.30 for Village services. <br />Motion by Malvin to adjourn.
