OOOOO <br />anuary 8th, 1962 Council meeting (con't) <br />An Ordinance entitled "AN RDINANCE RELATING TO THE REGULATION <br />OF THE USE OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS <br />VIEW, INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE, PROVISIONS OF CERTAIN STATUTES, <br />REPEALING 'RDINANCE NO: 631" was read Motion by Sullivan to adopt <br />Ordinance #89. Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes. <br />Mr. Meyers presented contracts for Attorney and Fiscal work <br />as requested. Contracts on file at the Village office. <br />A notice of condemnation was read and presented by the Attorney. <br />(copy on file.) <br />Motion by Blanchard to hold public hearing to condemn premises, <br />located at Lot 3, Block 3, Greenfield Plat 2 in the Village of Mounds <br />View and the premises beginning at a point on a line 33 ft. south from <br />and parallel with the North line and 219 feet east from west line of the <br />south of the S.E. %; thence southeasterly 107 feet parallet with <br />Northeasterly line of S.T.H. 10/62; thence at right angles southwesterly <br />43- 55/100 feet to said Northeasterly line; thence Northwesterly thereon <br />to intersect said first described parallel tine; thence east thereon <br />to beginning in Section 8, Township 30, Range 23 in the Village of <br />Mounds View, at 8:00 P.M., February 26th, 1962 at 2401 Highway #10. <br />Seconded by Sullivan. 4 ayes. <br />The Attorney read the contract from the Neptune Water Meter <br />impany and explained it's purpose. He reported that it was in order <br />and was very favorable to the Village, <br />Motion by Blanchard to renew contract and authorize the <br />Acting Mayor and Clerk to execute same. Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes. <br />The Engineer furnished the Village with copies of a report <br />from Twin Cities Testing Lab. on the filtering material in the iron <br />removal system. <br />A set 'of plans from the State Highway Department regarding <br />a storm sewer from Highway #10 to Spring Lake on Spring Lake Park Rd. <br />was referred to the attorney for recommendation. The Engineer stated <br />that from their standpoint the drawings were in order, but the <br />resolutions regarding the plans were not clear. <br />The matter of the acoustic problem at the meeting hall was <br />again sent back to the Engineer after he reported that the cost <br />estimates he had, so far, ranged between $650.00 to $1.540.00. <br />A letter from the City Manager of Fridley was read and placed <br />on file. This informed the Council that the City of Fridley could not <br />allow non - residents of the city to hook onto their sewer system. <br />Motion by Hodges to pay bills submitted.(list attached) <br />Motion by Sullivan to withold approval of 3.2 licenses for <br />alt Lazarz and Margaret Berthelsen be with held pending investigation. <br />Seconded by Malvin, <br />
