County Road J from Long Lake Road West to Spring <br />Lake Park Road. <br />Motion by Crane that a public hearing regarding this <br />matter be set for 7:00 P.M. June 11, 1962. <br />Seconded by Blanchard 4 Ayes <br />Sullivan Naye <br />0d0063 <br />A tentative date for the assessment hearings on <br />water project 1961 -1 is set for August 13, 1962 at 8:00 P.M. <br />The Attorney was instructed to write Mr. Don Voge, <br />advising him that he is operating a "Dra9 • Strip" without <br />a license and is in violation of Village Ordinance #78, <br />The Attorney advised that private parties can institute <br />action against Mr. Voge because of the extension of the <br />Drag Strip and its accompanying noise factor. <br />The New Brighton Bulletin will publish a Public <br />Notice of possible reassessment of property due to water <br />in basements. _Said assessment will be made by the County <br />Assessor's Office. <br />Motion by Sullivan to purchase a kit for testing <br />of Village water for the approximate price of $80.00• <br />Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes <br />The matter of the purchase for a large pump for the <br />Water Department was tabe'led for further study. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution #103 and <br />Resolution # 104 regarding 35W plans. Seconded by Crane. <br />5 Ayes <br />The Engineer was instructed to notify the N.S.S.D. of <br />the acceptance of the 35W plans by the Village, and the <br />possible affect of this action on sanitary sewer plans. <br />The Engineer reported that Plans and Specs for Lakeside <br />Park were out and bids would be opened May 21, 1962 at <br />Spring Lake Park Village Office. <br />Motion by Crane that the Building Inspector will <br />issue no permits within 100 feet of 35W Right - of-Way fence <br />without Council O.K. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />Motion by Crane to authorize final payment to <br />D. W. Hickey Company in the amount of $5724.20 for the <br />filtration equipment, subject to the final approval of <br />the Engineer. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes <br />Mr. Bergstrom of N.S.P. Gas Company will be requested <br />to be present at the next agenda meeting May 24, 1962 <br />at 4:00 P.M. <br />Motion by Crane to order Plans & Specs from Engineer <br />for 26'_X'30' pump house for Well #2 with alternates on <br />recording devise and brick siding. Seconded by Hodges. <br />5 Ayes <br />
