PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P.M., July 23,1962 <br />at 2401 Highway #10. <br />000 99 <br />Roll call was called by the Clerk. <br />Present were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Absent: <br />Trustee: <br />Also present: <br />Adm. Deputy Clerk: <br />Attorney: <br />Engineer: <br />Public Works: <br />Allan B Crane <br />Lloyd J► Blanchard <br />Donald Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Paul Boog <br />Richard Meyers <br />Les Knutson <br />Walter Skiba <br />The Mayor called three times for further bids for pump <br />and pump house for Well #2. <br />Bids were then opened and recorded. (see attached sheet) <br />The Mayor asked if anyone present had submitted a bid <br />which had not been recorded. Receiving no answer he declared <br />the bids closed. <br />Motion by Hodges to refer the bids to the Engineer for <br />tabulation and recommendation. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />The Mayor announced that a special meeting would be <br />held on July 30, 1962 at the Village Hall to award the <br />contract for the above mentioned project. <br />Mayor Crane reported on several meetings that were <br />coming up in the near future. They are as follows: <br />N.S.S.D.- Coon Rapids City Hall July 24, 1962 <br />M.V.Police Comm. - Village Hall July 26, 1962 <br />C.D. Meeting and drawing•Vilhge hall July 26, 1962 <br />Ramsey County Board of tax equalization - Ramsey County <br />Court House - 7/16/62 to 8/10/62. <br />At 8:30 P.M. the Mayor called the public hearing <br />regarding the rezoning of the North 100 feet of the South <br />185 feet of Lot 53, Auditor's Subdivision No.89, Ramsey <br />County, Minnesota from R1-it to R -3. <br />The Chairman of the Planning Commission, Milt Stole, <br />read the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting and <br />they were placed on file, <br />
