PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY MINNESOTA Persuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the Village Council was called to order at 6:55 P.M. Monday, July 30, 1962 at the Village Office, 2401 Highway #10. Present were: Mayor Clerk Trustee Also Present: Engineer Attorney Adm‘ Deputy Clerk Allan B. Crane Lloyd J. Blanchard Perry Malvin Donald Hodges John L. Sullivan Les Knutson Richard Meyers Paul E. Boog The Mayor called on the Engineer for a report on the bidding. Mr. Knutson explained what the various schedules and alternates entailed and made the following recommendations. The low bid for Schedule A of Layne - Minnesota Company in the amount of $21,799.00 be accepted. The low bid for Schedule B of D.W.Hickey Company in the amount of of $16,620.00 be accepted. In the matter of Schedule C the apparent low bidder was the Karl Dedolph Company in the amount of $27,646.00, however if alternates #2 and #3 were eliminated this would make the D. W. Hickey Company the low bidder in the amount of $25,040.00. Motion by Crane to eliminate alternates #2 and #3 from the Schedule C bid. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Motion by Sullivan to concur with the Engineer's recommenda- tion and accept the Schedule A bid of the Layne Minnesota Co. in the amount of $21,779.00, Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes Motion by Malvin to concur with the Engineer's recommenda- tion and accept the Schedule B bid of the D.W. Hickey Co. in the amount of $16,620.00. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes Motion by Hodges to accept the bid of the D.W. Hickey Co. (eliminating # 2 and #3) in the amount of $25,040.00. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes Total bid price for all three schedules $63,439.00 Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7 :15 P.M. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes Respectfully Submitted Lloyd .
