The Engineer informed the Council that the State has 0J{1�0 <br />given verbal approval to the plans for the improvement of <br />Hillview Road and Quincy under State Aid Funds. <br />The Attorney will acquire the right -of -way for Hillview Rd. <br />The Engineer presented a bill from the Herbst Construction <br />Company and stated that he felt the portion of the bill for <br />emergency work on the water main should be back - charged to the <br />original contractor. <br />Motion by Sullivan to pay Herbst Construction Company $250.00 <br />for emergency repairs to water main and to back charge Sandstrom <br />and Hafner for said work under terms of performance bond. <br />Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes. <br />The Clerk was instructed to notify the firm of Sandstrom & <br />Hafner of repairs and charges. <br />Motion by Sullivan to pay Herbst Construction Company $72.00 <br />for work on Storm Sewer. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes <br />The Engineer reported that the matter of the drainage <br />in Knollwood was still not solved and after some discussion, <br />the following action was taken: <br />Motion by Crane to have the Engineer prepare a pre - <br />preliminary report cn bdrOno Knollwood Road from County Road H <br />to County Road H -2 up to State Aid standards and to include <br />storm sewer system. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />The Groveland drainage problem was tabled. <br />The application for a federal grant for Sanitary Sewer <br />was referred to the Engineer. <br />A memo from the Attorney regarding sewer assessment <br />procedure and alternatives was received for study. <br />An Ordinance dealing with Petit larceny was read. <br />Motion by Sullivan to adopt Ordinance #96. Seconded by Blanchard <br />5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Malvin to pay bills submitted. (list attached) <br />Seconded by Crane 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses. (list attached) <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />The Clerk was instructed to notify the Tom Thumb Superette, <br />that no outside signs regarding the sale of beer can be <br />constructed without Council approval <br />An application for On -Sale Liquor License was received <br />on this date from Mr. Andrew Simon and placed on file. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay F.M. Dolan and E.V. Dolan <br />$600.00 for appraisal of Skiba, Voge, and Moga properties as <br />requested by the Village Attorney. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />
