PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />0 ,3015 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P.M., November 26, 1962 <br />at 2401 Highway #10. <br />Present were: <br />Mayor:. <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: <br />Attorney: <br />Adm Deputy Clerk <br />Public Works <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Donald Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Les Knutson <br />Richard Meyers <br />Paul E. Boog <br />Walter Skiba <br />The Mayor called three timesfor further bids on street <br />improvement project 1962.2. There being no further bids, the <br />Mayor declared the bidding closed. <br />The Clerk then opened the bids and the Engineer read them. <br />(See attached sheet) <br />The Hearing for a permit to move a house for N.D. Moe was <br />opened and immediately recessed, as Mr. Moe was not yet present. <br />The Public Hearing for the rezoning of a portion of the <br />O'Connell property was opened by the Mayor. <br />Mr, Jack Bell, Attorney for Benn -Ett Reality Company <br />stated the reasons for their requesting the rezoning. <br />The proposed land use will be for a service station, or <br />a compatible commercial enterprise. <br />The Mayor asked for objectors to the rezoning. There <br />being no objeetors,the following action was taken; <br />Motion by Sullivan to have the minutes show that there <br />were no objectors to the proposed rezoning. To rezone the <br />parcel of land described in the legal notice, (on file) at <br />the S oath• bast corner of Highway #10 and County Road H•2 <br />from R1.A to Bea: subject to the approval of plans for a <br />filling station or other compatible business as approved by <br />the Coungtl, Said rezoning to take place at the time of the <br />approval of said plans, Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />The condemnation hearing continued from the last <br />regular meeting was reopened by the Mayor. <br />The owner of the home at 8281 Spring Lake Park Road <br />presented a letter which is as follows: <br />To Whom it May Conern: <br />The house at 8281 Spring Lake Park Road • <br />Minneapolis 32, Minnesota, has been removed. <br />We agree that the basement of same, will <br />not be used or rented as a dwelling while <br />we are owners. <br />-Floyd E.
