Mr. Ballenger, 2077 Oakwood requested the Council to O�.L <br />insist that the Anoka Bus Company park off street between runs <br />instead of in the middle of Oakwood near Highway # 8. <br />Clerk to notify Bus Company - parking area on right of wa' <br />is available for this purpose. <br />The Engineer is to contact the contractor regarding the <br />removal of the hydrant on Hillview Road project causing a dead <br />end line and affecting the taste of the water in the area. <br />The matter of a dangerous hole in County Road H -2 near <br />the West Village line was referred to the County Engineer <br />for correction. (Mrs Skiba and Mr. Sullivan.) <br />The Civil Defense Director stated the availability of his <br />men for stakeout detail in the Village if requested.Police <br />Commission to work out details <br />The Engineer presented the plans for water project 1963•1. <br />( on file <br />The matter of relocating a hydrant at Groveland Road and <br />Highway #10 was brought up in a letter from Suburban "66 ".(on file) <br />Motion by Crane, that the Village Engineer will cause <br />said hydrant be relocated and cost of such relocating to be <br />charged to Suburban "66't. Seconded by Blanchardi 5 Ayes. <br />The Engineer reported that work was progressing on the <br />Hillview project and that snail damages have been caused but <br />are the responsibility of the contractor. <br />The Building Inspector presented plans from Skelly Oil Co. <br />for a Service Station at Highway #10 and Groveland Road, but <br />recommends denial of application until further plans are <br />presented. <br />Noted deficiencies on proposed station; <br />1. No fence or "green zone" <br />2. Drainage on Groveland not shown. <br />3. Drainfield lacking in detail. <br />4. No furnace specifications. <br />5. Electrical detail for building insufficient, <br />6. Elevations not shown. <br />Plans referred back to Skelly Oil Company for correction. <br />The Council policy for furnishing water to the Village <br />of Shoreview for flooding rinks is as follows: <br />1.. If obtained thru flushing of dead end lines - no charge. <br />2. If obtained under other circumstances • regular water <br />rates will be charged. <br />A letter from Mr. Meyers was sent to the Ramsey County <br />Board suggesting their using available welfare or relief employees <br />to clean Judicial Ditch # 1. (copy on file) <br />Motion by Blanchard to send work order to N.S.P. to install <br />one 10,000 lumens street light at the corner of Woodlawn and <br />Sherwood Drive as petitioned. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes. <br />(petition on file) <br />
