PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA e t) ( ) 2 3 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Crane at8:00 P.M., March 11, 1963 at 2401 <br />Highway # 10. <br />Present were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: <br />Attorney: <br />Treasurer: <br />Adm. Deputy Clerk: <br />Public Works: <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Donald Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Les Knutson <br />Richard Meyers <br />Irene Edberg <br />Paul E. Boog <br />Walter Skiba <br />Motion by Sullivan to accept minutes of February 25 <br />as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />The Mayor opened the Public Hearing on proposed relocation <br />of the former Sahara Club. The Clerk read the legal and published <br />notice regarding this hearing. <br />Mr. John Bell, representing the petitioner, Paul <br />Indykiewicz, told the Council how the building would be brought up <br />to the building code after moving, and showed where the building <br />would be placed on said property. <br />The only objection to the hearing was from Mr. Benson, <br />representing Dahlberg Builders, who wished assurance that the <br />building would be brought up to code and would conform generally <br />with the surrounding homes. (letter regarding this on file) <br />The Mayor called for further objectors or proponents. <br />There being none the hearing was closed at 8:15 P.M. <br />After discussion with the Attorney the following action <br />was taken: <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve application for relocation <br />of house from 5164 Highway # 8 to the South 200 feet of Lot 56, <br />Auditor's Subdivision #89, except the West 216.6 feet thereof and <br />to authorize the Building Inspector to issue permit. House to be <br />fully completed within 6 months. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />The Clerk informed the Council that the papers for the <br />proposed rezoning of a parcel of land on Highway # 10 were on file <br />and in order. <br />Motion by Crane to set a Public Hearing on March 25, 1963 <br />at 8:00 P.M. to rezone - That part of the SE% of Section 6, Township 30, <br />Range 23, lying SW'ly of the original center line of Trunk Highway # 1� <br />and NW'ly of a line at right angles to said center line extending <br />SW'ly from a point thereon 1511.9 feet NW'ly from its intersection <br />with S. line of said Section. Subject to Highway from R -2 to B -3. <br />The Clerk shall cause such notices to be published and mailed as <br />may be required. The propose' shall be referred to the Planning <br />Commission for a report at the Public Hearing. Seconded by Hodges. <br />5 Ayes. <br />
