-3- <br />0,30026 <br />Mr. Hodges stated that after investigation of the Twelve <br />Oaks Park Site a request would be made of the Village Engineer to <br />do a topographical map of this park site. <br />A resolution regarding NSSSD utilizing their influence and <br />resources in obtaining a sewage outlet far the Village as soon <br />as possible was read. <br />Motion by Crane to adopt Resolution # 118. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Sullivan to have the Clerk advertise for bids <br />on a used dump truck as soon as the-spees. were prepared. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />The matter of water meter repair and testing service <br />to other Villages was discussed and the Council agreed that the <br />Village shall charge the same amount as the City of Minneapolis for <br />this service. The income from this source will be used to defray <br />the cost of this equipment. <br />The Fiscal Agent, Mr, Olson, stated that he would have a <br />report ready at the next regular meeting regarding the Water <br />Construction Funds. <br />The Engineer reported on the following items: <br />1. The County requirements for the rebuilding of county roads damaged <br />during construction are very strict and would entail quite an expense. <br />It is the belief of the Engineer that some sharing cost could be <br />arranged as the road would be better than original. <br />2. The matter of relocating N.S.P. power poles has not yet recieved <br />an answer but should have one by next meeting. <br />3. Soil tests needed to better estimate sewer and road construction <br />costs. <br />Motion by Crane to authorize the Engineer to have soil tests <br />taken at approximately 15 to 20 sites in the Village at a cost <br />not to exceed $750.00 . Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />4. The N.S.P. Gas Company will relocate a line in the Hillview- <br />Quincy Area. <br />5. The Montgomery Construction Company filed their newly required <br />statement of witholding. ( on file) <br />The Engineer was instructed to investigate the ditches North <br />of Hillview Road project in proposed trailer park area and present <br />findings at public hearing if possible. <br />Clerk Blanchard left meeting at 10:17 P.M. <br />Motion by Sullivan to approve the Final Engineer's Estimate <br />on Water Project 1962 -2 and 3 to withold 10% fer clean -up in the <br />Spring. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />The Deputy Clerk and Village Treasurer were instructed <br />to sell $10,000.00 of U.S. Treasury Bills from General Fund and <br />transfer $10,000.00 from the General Fund to the Water Construction <br />Fund. <br />
