Motion by Crane to adopt the assessment role for water-project <br />1962 -3 as corrected. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />The 30 day prepayment period will end May 23, 1963. <br />The Mayor noted the following corrections for the minutes of <br />Ap'pil 8, 1963: Page # 2 Paragraph # 3 will read: <br />The Mayor stated that our representative to the NSSSD <br />Board was late at two recent meetings. On February 26 he appeared <br />at 9:05 P.M. and on March 26 he appeared at 9:00 P.M. Both <br />meetings were called for 7 :30 P.M. <br />Paragrpah #9, Line #7 should read: <br />The Mounds View members of the Lakeside Park Commission feel <br />this would not be fair and equitable, <br />Motion by Sullivan to approve minutes of April 28, 1963 <br />as corrected. Seconded by Hodges, 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Sullivan to approve minutes of April 15, 1963 <br />(Special Meeting as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Jack Bell requested that the Council seriously try to set <br />up a Municipal Court in Mounds View either as a joint Municipal Court <br />or alone if necessary. <br />Mr. Blanchard and Mr. Sullivan were appointed to figure out <br />cost estimates for Council study and to contact the New Brighton Council <br />for possible joint court. <br />Mr. James Loinicken, 7200 Knollwood Drive requested a special <br />permit to allow his unlicensed cars to remain on his property. <br />The Police Department will investigate this and no action will <br />be taken until after the next regular meeting. <br />Mr. D. R. Mueller requested approval of a preliminary plat <br />for subdivision. After much discussion the following action was taken: <br />":'potion by Blanchard to approve preliminary plat for D. R. Mueller <br />subject to dedication of 30feet along the South side for the North <br />of Woodale Drive from Fairchild to Red 7ak Drive and for the extension <br />of Longview dedication to South end of sub-division. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. D.R.Mueller requested streets(Red Oak, and Longview) <br />water service and storm sewer on this sub - division. <br />The Engineer was instructed to prepare preliminary report <br />on these requests. <br />The Civil Defense Director, Mr. Jackson, requested some proof <br />of insurance coverage for the Civil Defense men while working for the <br />Village. Mr. Sullivan will investigate and report to the Council. <br />Mayor Crane reported that scales for weighing trucks were <br />available for village use and purchage of them would be an unnecessary <br />expense to the Village. <br />A letter from Min -Tex Builders regarding location of Star and <br />Tribune Building at County Road I and Adams was read and filed. <br />
