Letter from Twin City Arsenal, in reference to sewer connection <br />to their system, "No further commitment to any parties at this time." <br />3. Proposed Ballroom Ordinance be referred to the June 3 Agenda <br />meeting at 5 :30 p.m., <br />4. Request received from Skelly Oil Company - fence for their station <br />to be set back 15' from Groveland Road and 30' from Highway # 10. <br />The Council agreed to this set back. <br />5. An incident where a youth bought a package of cigarettes from <br />a ciagrette machine. <br />Donald Hodges reported the park schedules. Hillview Park <br />was being leveled off and that the back stops were installed on Lambert <br />and Greenfield Parks. <br />Perry Malvin reported that a Mounds View representative <br />is needed on the Lakeside Park Commission. <br />Motion by Malvin to adopt Resolution # 127 relating to <br />"Sanitary Sewer Disposal Plan 3 -A as formulated: by the North Suburban <br />Sanitary Sewer District. ". Seconded by Crane. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Perry Malvin announced that the NSSSD Board of Trustees Public Hearing <br />will convene the meeting at the Spring Lake Park School on May 28th, <br />8 :00 p.m. and will immediately recess the meeting and reconvene the same <br />at the Blaine School. <br />John Sullivan reported receiving, the workmen's compensation <br />insurance covering appointed officials. Sullivan answered questions <br />about the removing of sand and filling of holes on Village streets, <br />Mayor Crane read a letter from Representative R.O.Ashbach <br />thanking us for the telegram regarind Home Rule. <br />Letter from Chief Grabowski stating the Mounds View Police <br />will patrol Lakeside Park during the odd hours. <br />Milt Stole read minutes of the Planning Commission meeting <br />of May 21, 1963. The Clerk's Office was instructed to write Mr. Joe <br />Foley requesting him to appear at the next Planning Commission meeting. <br />Building Inspector, Chris Piehowski, reported on a condemned <br />home on Long Lake Road and Hillview. The Council agreed with him that <br />all requirements must be met before any person could live in it. Skiba <br />reported that the Hillview ditch was cleaned. <br />Discussion by Skiba about doubtful office proceedings, <br />about telephone calls being monitored, and about heavy work load. <br />Motion by Sullivan to instruct the Clerk's Office to put a notice in <br />the paper to hire an inspector, a journeyman plumber is desired on a <br />fee bases for plumbing, heating, well and sewer work. Seconded <br />by Crane. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Clerk Blanchard is instructed to review the inspectors <br />report form and other office procedures. About telephone call, it is <br />the duty of the Clerk's Office to find out who is on the phone and <br />what information is requested so that the proper person is notified. <br />
