-2- 0J0062 <br />Drainage problems in the Eastwood area and in the area <br />of County Road H -2 and Jackson Drive referred to Sullivan. <br />Mr. Fred Rudolph -8084 Fairchild Avenue - presented final <br />plans for his subdivision. <br />Motion by Hodges to approve final plans for subdivision <br />and have Clerk and Mayor affix signatures of approval on same. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />A petition from the residents in the area of the Hillview <br />Road project was received. Said petition requests the Council to take <br />action to have the project completed and to remove certain hazards <br />from the area. <br />This was discussed at great length and the following actions <br />were taken: <br />Motion by Malvin to have the Engineer direct the contractor <br />on the project to fence off both sides of Hillview Road where .needed <br />and both sides of Quincy to Oakwood. If fence is not in place in <br />24 hours, the Engineer will have another party put up the fence at <br />the Contractors expense. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />The Attorney explained the attempts of the Village to have <br />the County clean the Judicial Ditch and the apparent run - around or <br />delaying tactics employed by the County. <br />Motion by Sullivan to direct the Attorney to appear before <br />the County Board and express the desires of the Council and citizens <br />the need for immddiate action in regards to cleaning of Judicial Ditch <br /># 1. Attorney to present above mentioned petition to impress upon <br />the board the urgency of this matter. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />The Engineer was instructed to get an estimate as to the <br />cost of cleaning judicial dtich # 1 for presentation at the next <br />agenda meeting, June lit h, 5 :30 P.M. <br />The Mayor thanked the residents for bringing this matter <br />before the Council. <br />The drainange problem on Knollwood Drive was discussed <br />and the following action taken: <br />Motion by Sullivan to have the Engineer present preliminary <br />plans for the drainange pertion of State Aid Road improvement project <br />on Knollqood Drive from County Road H -2 to Woodale Drive. Plans to <br />be presented at next regular meeting. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to set Public Hearing for the rezoning <br />of the SE% of Section 6, Township 30, Range 23, lying SW'ly of the <br />original center line of Truck Highway # 10 and NW'ly of a line at right <br />angles to said center line extending SW'ly from a point thereon <br />1511.9 feet NW'ly from its intersection with S. line of said Section. <br />Subject to Highway for Mr. Clarence Peterson from R -2 to B -3 for <br />retail business, other than liquor. Hearing to be held June 24, 1963 <br />at 8 :30 P.M. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Published notice will contain proposed uses of sporting goods and <br />drug store. <br />Upon being advised of the time needed for preparation and <br />advertising for the Mueller project, by the Engineer, the following <br />action was taken: <br />Motion by Blanchard to order the improvement and to order <br />final plans and specs for the Mueller project, further to advertise <br />for bids on said project. Bids will close on July 8, 1963 at 8 :00 P.M. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />
