-3- <br />0J0063 <br />Motion by Crane to request the Village Engineer, Attorney <br />and Fiscal Agent to proceed with planning for sanitary sewer, with <br />optional plans and recommendations ready by July 8, 1963 for Council <br />di cusssion prior to a tentatively scheduled public hearing on or <br />about July 29, 1963. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />Motion by Crane that the Village Engineer contact the County <br />Dean Anklan, to co- ordinate scheduled County Road work with <br />=. <antary sewer planning and /or construction in Mounds View. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. <br />Engineer, <br />5 Ayes <br />Motion by Crane to have the Village Attorney proceed with <br />: ,tee to acquire right of ways for comtemplated sewer projects. <br />Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Crane to appoint Chris Piehowski as Chief <br />Inspector at a salary of $50.00 per month plus the present percentage <br />of tee, effective June 1, 1963. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes <br />A copy of Chief Inspectors duties on file with and a part <br />of official record of minutes, <br />The matter of the definition of water hook -up as it applies <br />?;o the ordinance was discussed. The Attorney stated that in his <br />opinion a hook -up was not complete until the meter had been purchased <br />installed. <br />Motion by Blanchard to publish the schedule of water hook -up <br />c: harge ; . Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />Clerk's Office will notify by mail all water permit holders <br />of the deadline date of June 30 and of the requirement of meter <br />pu -chase and installation to avoid the late hook-up charge <br />The Police report for May was read and filed. <br />A letter from the Ramsey County Engineer regarding <br />o>ctension of County Road I between Groveland Road and Highway # 10 <br />read and filed. <br />A joint Council meeting with . New Brighton will be held <br />ori._June 19, 1963 at 8:00 P.M. in the New Brighton Council Chambers <br />o o L_: =:cuss the proposed joint Municipal Court. <br />Motion by Sullivan to hire Mr. Jon Miller - 7415 Knollwood Drive <br />s:,- r;reet department employee at $1.50 per hour effective June 17, 1963. <br />conded by Crane. 5 Ayes. <br />A notice rertrding cutting of roadside weeds by the Village <br />:: _ eceived from the County Weed Inspector and referred to Mr. <br />;ui.i .van for action. <br />The Lakeside Commission has decided not to hire their own <br />?-c; _.icoman for the park, but has requested Vigilance on the part of <br />h Police Departments p protecting the property. <br />Motion by Sullivan to concur with-the Building Inspectors <br />recommendation and allow a variance to the building code for Mr. <br />Johnke - 8408 Eastwood Drive. Said variance is an addition to <br />home that will protrude 18' beyond present front line. <br />or, onr'ied by Crane. <br />5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Malvin to waive side yard set back requirement and <br />low a set back of five feet on the East side of 2126 Terrace Drive. <br />Socooded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />
