-4- <br />OU0(371 <br />After further discussion regarding the use of the outside <br />room attached to the ballroom, the use of this portion was deleted, so <br />the applicant and the Council would feel that a liquor license or <br />liquor store does not receive any consideration at this time, <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve preliminary plan for ballroom as <br />corrected. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />An application for on and off sale liquor license was received <br />from Mr. Ervin Herbst and referred to the Attorney. <br />Motion by Sullivan to refund to the petitioneers of a recent <br />rezoning, Mr. E. Herbst and Mrs. Stella Skiba - $12.50 each, due to <br />a double charge on rezoning fees. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />The Attorney presented to the Council a memo on sub- division4 <br />regulations in regards to the contractors and sub - dividers responsibili- <br />ties in the matter of Public Improvements <br />This memo to be discussed at next agenda meeting - July 1 -63 <br />at 5:30 P.M. <br />A Resolution regarding certain assessments was presented. <br />Motion by Hodges to adopt Resolution # 129. Seconded by <br />Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />The Attorney gave a report on the Attorney's meetings at the <br />recent League of Minnesota Municipalities Convention. <br />The most important item, he stated, was that of the <br />li ^bility of Villages. The last session of the Legislature passed a <br />bill e ::tending the immunity of schools but did not include municipalities. <br />He suggested that the insurance coverage after January 1, 1964 be checked <br />carefully to make sure the Village is protected. <br />Mr. Schlichtmann, Village Weed Inspector reminded the Council <br />that the County Weed Inspector has requested the Village tc mow the <br />boulevards and parks by July 1, 1963. <br />The Planning Commission minutes were read and filed. <br />Motion by Blanchard to concur with Planning Commissions <br />recommendation and allow subdivision of Mr. A. Spitzer - 7889 Woodlawn <br />Drive, Seconded by Malvin . 4 Ayes. <br />The Council will make an on site inspection of the County <br />Road H right of way 250' beyond Irondale Road to determine whether <br />or not a building permit should be issued for a lot in that area. <br />Mr. Piehowski, building inspector, presented the plans for the <br />administration building for the trailer park and recommended Council <br />approval. Motion by Sullivan to publish ammendment to zoning ordinance <br />giving final approval to rezoning of the Northeast % of the Southeast <br />of Section %, Township 30, Ranger 23 from R - -1 to B -3 with special use <br />and R -3. Seconded by Blanchard. x- 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to concur with Building Inspectors <br />recommendation and issus a building permit for thetministration <br />building. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totaling $5,278.10, <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes <br />
