PRCCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P,M., July 8, 1963 at 2401 Highway # 10. <br />Roll Call <br />Present were: <br />Mayor: <br />Trustee: <br />Adm. Clerk: <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: <br />Attorney: <br />Absent: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Perry Malvin <br />Donald Hodges <br />Paul Boog <br />Les Knutson <br />Richard Meyers <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Mayor Craze opened the Public Hearing for Mueller Addition and <br />Groveland Water Extension, Mayor Crane called three times for additional <br />Bidsi Bids were opened by Boog and read by Engineer Knutson. <br />Herbst Construction Co. <br />Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. <br />Bianconi Construction <br />James D. Days <br />Mayor recessed Public Hearing until Engineer could tabulate <br />Motion by Hodges to approve minutes of June 24. Seconded by <br />Malvin. 2 Ayes. Crane abstained. Motion Carried. <br />Malvin reported on the progress of Sanitary Sewer plans, and <br />explained that Mr. Sullivan and Knutson had investigated different types <br />of roads. Richard Meyers, Attorney, reported on the meeting held with <br />the Engineer and Fiscal Agent relating to financing the sewer project. <br />He stated the total project including streets would be approximately <br />two million dollars. <br />James Johnson - 5441 Adams stated that through a misunderstanding <br />with Mr. Skiba his water meter wasn't installed He now must pay an <br />additional fee. Mrs. Kolledge - 2066 Sherwood explained that she had <br />been out of town and did not know about the June 30th deadline for <br />hooking onto the municipal system. <br />Motion by Crane to extend the water hook -up deadline to July <br />31, 1963, that the Clerk's office notify the twenty people who have not <br />paid the meter deposit of this new deadline, and that the newspapers be <br />notified of this change. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />
