PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />0J0089 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Acting Mayor Donald Hodges at 8:05 P.M., August 12, <br />1963 at 2401 Highway # 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Acting Mayor: <br />Trustees: <br />Absent: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Also Presentt <br />Admi Clerk: <br />Attorney: <br />Engineer: <br />Treasurer: <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Perry Malvin <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Paul E. Boog <br />Richard Meyers <br />Les Knutson <br />Irene Edberg <br />Motion by Malvin to accept the minutes of July 22, 1963 <br />meeting as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Malvin reported that the City of Minneapolis has signed <br />a contract with the NSSSD. <br />Mr. and Mrs.Bergerie requested permission to move a home <br />on Lot # 26 next to 7578 Knollwood Drive. They were informed of the <br />necessary requirements. <br />Mayor Hodges opened the Public Hearing on the storm sewer <br />improvement on Knollwood Drive from County Road H -2 to Woodale Drive., <br />Woodale Drive from 200 feet East of Knollwood Drive to 700 feet West <br />of Knollwood Drive, the total estimated cost - $8,500.00. Engineer <br />Knutson explained that M.S.A. Funds were available to pay 62%% of the <br />cost. The remaining 38% or $3,300 would be assessed to the benefited <br />property owners, about $170.00 per lot. The Acting Mayor and Attorney <br />explained that this public hearing was held to determine if those <br />benefited owners were in favor of or opposed to this improvement. <br />Mayor Hodges asked for all thou who were opposed to this <br />improvement. Mr. Gerald Blanski -1881 Woodale Drive submitted a <br />petition with nineteen signatures all of whom were opposed to the <br />proposal.
