PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />0 .00 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Acting mayor D. Hodges at 8 :00 P.M., September 9, <br />1963 at 2401 Highway # 10. <br />Present were: <br />Acting Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: <br />Attorney: <br />Adm. Boog <br />Walter Skiba <br />Motion by Sullivan to accept minutes of August 26, 1963 <br />as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Malvin reported that the NSSSD board has received a <br />report from Fridley o'f their . sanitary sewer problems and after <br />studying this report a joint meeting will be held to come to an <br />agreement. <br />The Attorney advised the Council that the NSSSD contemplates <br />ittle or no construction before the first of the year. <br />A petition was received requesting a street light at the <br />intersection of Longview and Woodcrest. Motion by Hodges to send <br />work order to N.S.P. to install one 6,000 lumen street light at the <br />intersection of Longview and Woodcrest. Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. <br />The Engineer was instructed to investigate the removal by <br />the contractor of a street light and stop sign at the intersection <br />of Hillview and Quincy. <br />Mr. John G. Bell appeared requesting informal approval of <br />a subdivision for Mr. Indykiewicz. The Council advised that the <br />proposed subdivision be split in an East -West direction rather than <br />a North South split to allow for a road easement. <br />A letter from Mr. R. Eigenheer requesting action on his <br />building permit application on County Road H. The letter was referred <br />to the Engineer for contact with the County Engineer as to the progress <br />of County Road H extension. <br />Mr. Eigenheer was advised to contact the Council in New <br />Brighton to have them submit a similar request to the County Board for <br />said extension of County Road H <br />A letter from the North Suburban Hospital District stating <br />,iat they are working now with Glenwood Hills Hospital to bring a <br />hospital into the district as soon as possible, was read and filed. <br />
