-2- ( j t 1 2 ;3 <br />Motion by Blanchard to make final payment to Walbon <br />Construction Company in the amount of $8,166.46 and to enter into a <br />one year warranty and maintenance bond. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion carried. <br />Engineer Knutson reported on several complaints regarding <br />the hardness of the municipal water supply and the consequent impairment <br />of the heating elements in residential hot water heaters. The Twin City <br />Testing and Engineering Laboratories have taken samples of the water on <br />different dates which indicated an increase In water hardhess from that <br />originally determined. ' <br />Malvin reported that bids were received today by NSSSD Board <br />on two phases, no action was taken. <br />Engineer Knutson was excused. <br />Mr4 John Eastman presented building plans for a ballroom and <br />requested acceptance of a liquor store attached to the ballroom. The <br />Council informed Mr4 Eastman that this inclusion would not be acceptable. <br />After discussion on the sanitary sewer plans and reviewing <br />the progress of the NSSSD Mayor Hodges moved to set the following dates <br />for public hearings for Sanitary Sewer. <br />December 5, 1963 - Public Hearing for the Village Sanitary <br />Sewer Interceptor System <br />December 12, 1963- Public Hearing for Sanitary Sewer lateral <br />system in the Pinewood and 12 Oaks areas. <br />December 19, 1963- Public Hearing for Sanitary Sewer lateral <br />system in the Hillview and Knollwood area. <br />That these hearings to be held at the Edgewood Jr. High School at <br />8:00 P4M4 Motion was seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. Motion carried, <br />Mr. .John Bell introduced two representative of the Financial <br />Management Association. They discussed a $1,400,000.00 project designed <br />to be built on the triangle of Highway 8 & 10. They were concerned <br />with the availability of Village Sanitary Sewer. <br />Motion by Blanchard to order the following portion of Water <br />Extension Project 1963 -2. County Road H - Highway # 10 exluding the <br />Groveland Road and County Road J portions and to order the final plans <br />and direct the Clerk and Engineer to advertise for bids. <br />Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan to allow asixty day extension to Mr. John <br />Eliason - 8323 Eastwood to continue to live in a mobile home while build- <br />ing his house. Motion seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan to permit Mr. Kenneth Bonin - 8380 Spring <br />Lake Park Road to store one car in his yard until January 1. Seconded <br />by Malvin, 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan to permit Mr. Kenneth Bonin fifteen days <br />to remove the remaining vehicles. The Police Department is to be notified <br />of this time limit and the Police Department be instructed to follow <br />up and make sure that Mr. Bonin removes the vehicles. Seconded by <br />31anchard. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />
