-3- <br />Motion by Sullivan to approve the four subdivisions by Erco, <br />Inc, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition, Lots 6, 27, 28, 36. Seconded <br />by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Malvin that all future Public Hearings held during <br />the regular Council meetings will be scheduled at 9:00 P.M.. Seconded <br />by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />On suggestion by Mr. Sullivan the Council recommended to send <br />a letter to the students who attended the Council meeting inviting <br />them to return, <br />Motion by Malvin that it is the intent of the Council when <br />presented with a survery showing a lot split on Lot # 49 - 115 foot <br />frontage make Lot # 50 - 85 foot frontage, the Council will approve <br />of this lot split presented by and owned by Mrs. Lietz. Motion <br />seconded by Hodges, 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Hodges read the monthly Police Report and letters of <br />commendation and thanks to Police 'officers John Kardell and Mrs. Harriet <br />Kish for their efforts in apprehending the five girls who ran away from <br />the Lino Lakes Youth Center. <br />Motion by Sullivan that the Council will not initiate a water <br />main improvement or hearing thereon unless a legal petition requiring <br />a hearing is filed or the Council is notified by other plausiable means <br />that a majority of the people in the effective area desires such an <br />improvement. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes, Motion Carried. <br />It was announced that County Road I from Highway # 10 to <br />Groveland Road is now being constructed. <br />Attorney Richard Meyers stated that the Lakeside Park <br />Ordinance is to be drawn up by the Spring Lake Park Attorney. <br />Donald Cr Hodges submitted his resignation as a Village <br />Council Trustee. <br />Motion by Blanchard to accept Mr. Hodges resignation as Trustee <br />and to appoint Hodges as Mayor to fill the unexpired term of Allan <br />Crane, Seconded by Sullivan. 3 Ayes. Hodges abstained. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan to approve of a second building for Roy <br />Juntunen -- 2114 Sherwood Road to be used as a Sauna Bath House. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Malvin to approve of a se' -nd building for Donald <br />Hansen - 1779 Woodale Drive to be used as a boat shelter. Seconded by <br />Hodges. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Blanchard to grant a side yard set back variance <br />allowing 6' instead of 10' to Vernon Schmalzer - 1770 Woodale Drive. <br />Contingent upon Building Inspectors receiving application and payment <br />of variance fee. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills that totaled $12,509.69 <br />including final payment to Walbon Construction. Seconded by Sullivan <br />4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve license application. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
