Seconded by LaVaque. <br />5 Ayes. <br />A resolution regarding sale of bonds for the Mueller project was <br />presented by the Attorney. Motion by Hodges to adopt Resolution #144 <br />entitled: <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE, SALE AND DELIVERY <br />OF $35,000 WATER IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1964, PAYABLE FROM <br />THE IMPROVEMENT BOND REDEMPTION FUND, AND PROVIDING FOR <br />AND APPROPIATING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE SUPPORT <br />AND MAINTENANCE OF SAID FUND. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills totaling $17,319.58. Seconded by <br />LaVaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve applications and issue licenses. <br />Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. <br />A request for an extension of time for a special use permit to keep <br />a trailor at 8323 Eastwood Road was held over for the next regular <br />meeting when the petitioner will be requested to be present. <br />A petition for a street light at the intersection of Highway #10 <br />and Fairchild Ave. was received. <br />Motion by Hodges to send purchase request to N.S.P. for one 6,000 <br />lumen street light at the intersection of Highway #10 and Fairchild Ave. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Hodges to appoint Jim Olson of Juran and Moody as fiscal <br />agent for 1964, under the same agreement as last year. Seconded by Sullivan. <br />5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Skiba reported some trouble with Well #2. This was referred to <br />the Engineer. <br />Motion by Sullivan to have the Attorney send a letter of protest, <br />in behalf of Mounds View, for the improper way in which the Chies dump <br />is being operated. Letter and copies to be sent to Chies Bros., Village <br />of New Brighton, Dept. of Health, State of Minnesota and the Minnesota <br />Water Pollution Control Commission. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. <br />The date of the 3rd annual organizational dinner was announced as <br />Feb.1,1964. <br />Mr. Rustad presented the Police reports for December and for the <br />year 1963. These were read and filed. <br />The Clerk's office was directed to prepare a letter of commendation <br />for the Police Dept. for their continuing good work. <br />The Clerk's office was instructed to again contact B & E Patrol <br />regarding their failure to submit reports as directed. <br />Motion by Sullivan to adjourn.
