-2- <br />(3'i20032 <br />The Chief of Police would not recommend the installation of "yield" <br />sign at Pinewood and Quincy. Motion by Blanchard to leave the stop signs <br />as they presently are on Pinewood Drive and Quincy intersection. <br />Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes, <br />Mr. Rustad read the February report for the B. & E. Patr•,1.(on file) <br />The animal control contract will be re ;'iewed on Friday, March 13 at <br />6:30 P.M. at the agenda meeting. <br />Mr. Sullivan read a 36 point report on the activities of the Public <br />Utilities department. <br />The inventory records for the Public Utility and Civil Defense tie. <br />partment were returned to the Clerk. <br />Mr. T.O. Flowers, representing Gulf Oil, requested permission to <br />erect a service station at the intersection of Highway #8 and #10 on <br />11.60 acres. He suggested the possibility of further development of a <br />restaurant, motel, and shopping center. Motion by Blanchard to 'set a <br />public hearing for a special use permit for above request on March 23, <br />1964 at 9:00 P.M., and to request the Planning Commission to prepare <br />a report r-1 this for presentation at that time. Seconded by LaVaque. <br />5 Ayes. <br />The Engineer presented the final estimate for well #2 building for <br />action at the next regular meeting. <br />The Attorney presented a resolution adopting the N.S.S,S.D, contract. <br />Motion by Blanchard to ad :pt Resolution #153. Seconded by LaVaque. <br />5 Ayes. <br />An ordinance -hanging the name of Spri --; Lake Park Road.to Spring <br />Lake Road was presentee.'.. Motiongby Sullivan to adopt Ordinance #110. <br />Seconded by Ru: ^tad. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Meyers reporte' that the Dedolph case is now in court. <br />Mr. Skiba presented an (;ffer by the Waterous Company to repaint the <br />2 ^0 fire hydrants in the village at a cast to the village of $1.62 per <br />hydrant. He was directed to determine if this would be a reasAnable price <br />in comparison with ether communities experi` -nce, and to repert at the <br />next regular meeting. <br />Motion by Sullivan to authorize Mr. Skiba to attend the University <br />of Minnesota extension school for water operators, and the sewage wryrks <br />operators school, with the village to pay all expenses incurred. <br />Seconded by LaVaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills presented in total amount crf <br />$8,399.60. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses. (list attached) Seconded <br />by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />
