-2- tL0a 6 <br />4. 4. Award of bids subject to agreement between Village nand <br />Highway Department for participation in cost of drainage program <br />under Highway # 8 and <br />5. Subject to the receipt from the Department of Health <br />granting a permit for construction. Seconded by Rustad 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Blanchard read Resolution regarding # 4 and # 5 listed <br />above. Motion by Rustad to adopt Resolution #163. (Highway Dept <br />Agreement) Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Rustad to adopt Resolution # 164. (Health Department) <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. <br />The Building Inspector presented plans for a ballroom to be <br />constructed across Edgewood Drive from the Village Hall. Motion by <br />Rustad to concur with the recommendation of the Building Inspector <br />and Planning Commission and approve plans of Mark C. Jones Company <br />for a ballroom to be constructed across from Village Hall. <br />Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by La Vaque to complete rezoning and amend Zoning <br />Ordinance for above Ballroom property. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />At 9:00 P4M. The Mayor opened the Public Hearing for the <br />former Gilbertson property on Highway # 10. <br />The Clerk read the published and mailed notices and Mr. Larson <br />complied with a request from the Clerk to complete his application. <br />The Plans were discussed and explained by Mr. Larson. <br />The following citizens objected to the rezoning.: <br />L. Mr. Pat Burns - 7729 Groveland Road - Does not want apartments in <br />residentail area - no objection to B -3. <br />2. Ivx. Glen Hanson - 7767 Groveland Road - same as above - no objection <br />to rezoning to B -3 <br />3. Mr. Uber - 2105 Hillview Road - does not want either. <br />4. Mr. James Gabel - 7934 Fairchild Avenue - does not want either. <br />The following person was in favor of the proposal: <br />1. Mr. Perry Malvin - 8088 Sunnyside Road - feels both deals would <br />benefit the Village. <br />The Mayor called for further statements and there were none. <br />The Mayor closed the Public Hearing. <br />Motion by Rustad to rezone the following property.: Starting <br />at the N.. corner of Lot # 59 Auditors Subdivision #89, Thence South 300' <br />thence East 152', thence North 218', thence back to point of beginning. <br />(front portion) from R1 -A to B -3 upon approval of application of a <br />building permit .for ;stated u$e for property. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to rezone All of Lot # 59, Auditors Sub - <br />divison # 89 except a parcel of land described as follows: Starting <br />at the N.'J. Corner of Lot # 59 Auditors Subdivison # 39 thence South <br />300' , thence East 153', Thence North 218', thence back to point of <br />beginning from R -la to R -3 upon approval of application of a building <br />Iermit. Seconded by La Vaque. Blanchard, Hodges, La Vaque, Aye. <br />ustad Naye. <br />
