PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />O .J (J 1 d 1,. <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Donald Hodges at 8:00 P.M., November 23, 1964, <br />at 2401 Highway # 10. <br />Roll call of Officers: <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney: <br />Engineer: <br />Adm. Clerk: <br />Public Works: <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Charles La Vaque <br />Ingram Rustad <br />Arthur Schott <br />Richard Meyers <br />Shelly Boehm <br />Paul E. Boog <br />Walter Skiba <br />The Mayor called for further bids for Sanitary Sewer Improve- <br />ment Project 1964-2. (3 calls) <br />The Mayor closed the bidding and directed the Clerk and <br />Engineer to open the bids. <br />Bids were opened and read, copy attached. <br />The Mayor asked if any bids submitted were not read and there <br />were none. <br />Motion by Hodges to refer bids to the Engineer for tabulation' <br />and recommendation. Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. <br />The Mayor thanked the bidders for their submission of bids. <br />Minutes of November 9 corrected as follows: Page 5, Para. 4, <br />Line 1, shall read:, "Motion by La Vaque to approve the plans and <br />authorize the Clerk to advertise for bids." <br />Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of November 9, 1964 as <br />corrected. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Samuel B. Fried, raised several questions regarding the <br />recent election, but on advise from the Attorney, the Council took no <br />action and issued no statements on this matter. <br />Motion by Hodges that the firm of Comstock and Davis be <br />allowed to do survey work for Fankhanel - Ellsworth Properties, a firm <br />interested in the Moga property. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr, Charles Larson, developer, requested a motion from the <br />Council regarding his lots on County Road I. Motion by Rustad to allow <br />the developer to grant an additional easement to Ramsey County of 10 <br />feet on lots 12,13,14, and 15 of Block 1, Parkview Terrace making these <br />lots measure 132.3 feet by 89 feet. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Mayor Hodges reported that the hydrants were being placed <br />on the parks now. <br />Mr. Rustad reported that the Village Police had solved the <br />local postal pilferage problem. <br />
