-3- <br />0d0043 <br />The final payment to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Foley will be handled <br />through the Attorney for a satisfaction of mortgage. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totaling $91,183.20. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses submitted. <br />(list attached) Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. <br />The matter of the Village licensing of Beauty Shops was <br />referred to the Attorney for study and recommendation. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve the agreement with Ramsey <br />County regarding the Silver Lake Road extension and to authorize <br />the Mayor and Clerk to execute. Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to extend the time limit for the beginning <br />of construction of the duplexes on the East side of Raymond North of <br />County Road H -2, until May 2, 1965. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. <br />The request of the Nodland Construction Company for a storage <br />area for their equipment was discussed and the following action taken. <br />Motion by Blanchard to authorize the use of a portion of the <br />Village Hall area by Nodland Construction for storage of equipment <br />'caring construction with no fee involved. Seconded by Malvin. <br />4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanch:d to remove the w7 ter meters on La Porte Dr. <br />Ind reset them back to ziro and to charge a flat minimum usage for the <br />rime these meters had t, De left operating to prevent freezing. <br />ieconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />The Attorney was (irected to prepare an amendment to the <br />Water Ordinance # 74 to hange the wor(" ng on the billing procedure <br />from discount to penalt'' for late payments. <br />Motion by Blanchard to close the Village office at noon on <br />Good Friday, April 16, 1)65. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Glen Dawson, gave a report for the Police Civil Service <br />Commission as follows: 52 applications for patrolmen received; <br />34 written tests given; 10 oral exams; 2 applicants certified; 10 <br />pre oral exams to be given. The Clerk's Office was directed to direct <br />a letter to the Police Civil Service Commission requesting certification <br />of three men for Patrolmen by May 1, 1965. <br />The building permit report for the 1st Quarter was received <br />and filed. <br />Motion by La Vaque to adjourn.
