THE VILLAGE-COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW! <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting <br />of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at <br />6:30 P.M., June 7, 1965 at 2401 Highway # 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Lloyd J• Blanchard <br />Ingram Rustad <br />Charles La Vaque <br />Absent: <br />Trustee: Perry Malvin (arrived 7:00 P.M. <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: Eldon Comstock <br />Adm. Clerk Paul E. Boog <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing regarding the D. Zabel <br />property. <br />The Clerk read the legal notice as published and mailed. <br />Objectors to the proposed rezoning as follows: <br />Mr. Hillyard - 2166 Highway # 10 Minneapolis, Minnesota <br />Mr. Bowman - 2146 Highway # 10 - Minneapolis, Minnesota <br />Mr. Facer - 2138 Highway # 10 Minneapolis, Minnesota <br />They would rather not have a warehouse near their home. <br />In the discussion on this matter these points were brought forward <br />and discussed: <br />1. Heavy vehicle traffic expected. <br />2. Lack of proper area drainage. <br />3. Already zoned for light business ( B -1) <br />4. Possible other uses. <br />The Mayor closed the hearing: <br />Motion by Hodges to rezone the Northeasterly 410.6 feet of that <br />part of the Southeast '/q of Section 6, Township #30, Range # 23, lying <br />Southwesterly of the center line of Trunk Highway # 10 formerly <br />State Highway # 62, also know as Anoka cut Off) and lying between <br />two lines, each running Southwesterly at right angles to said center <br />line from points distant 955.9 and 1065.9 feet Northwesterly from <br />said South line of said Southeast '4, from B -1 to B -3 as petitioned. <br />Seconded by La Vaque. Roll Call - Blanchard -nave, Hodges -aye, <br />La Vaque, Naye- Rustad, Naye. Motion Lost <br />Motion by Blanchard to authorize the Mayor and /or Attorney <br />to sign necessary applications for federal aid for tornado debris <br />removal. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by La Vaque to set a public hearing for 'dater <br />Improvement Project on Woodale Drive from Knollwood Drive to <br />Fairchild Avenue at 9 :00 P,M., June 28, 1965. <br />Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. <br />
