Page # 2 <br />Motion by Rustad, on advise from the Attorney and Engineer, <br />to readvertise for bids for Schedule Bi Sanitary Sewer Project 1965 -3. <br />Bid opening date will be July 6, 1965 at 6:30 P.M. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by La Vaque on advise from the Engineer, to send a work <br />order and letter to the Ramsey County Engineer and request them to <br />install a culvert on Jackson Drive and County Road H -2. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Hodges to grant a variance to Ed Dropps as requested <br />allowing 6 feet side yard set back on West side of his lot. <br />Variance dependent on receipt of all necessary papers and fees. <br />Variance lot is directly West of 2101 Sherwood Road. (address not <br />given). Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. <br />The drainage problem directly East of Lakeside Park was referred <br />to the Engineer for study. <br />Motion by Hodges to grant a variance to D. Russel, 8026 <br />Fairchild Avenue allowing 316 feet side yard set back on south side <br />of his lot. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. <br />A letter from Comstock and Davis, Village Engineer was read <br />and filed. The letter referred to a report from Twin City Testing <br />Lab. giving the iron removal plant performance. <br />This letter requested before escrow money can be released. <br />Motion by Rustad to pay Estimate # 10, surface water drainage <br />project 1964 -1 in the amount of $ 53,738.89. Seconded by La Vaque. <br />4 Ayes. <br />The building inspector questioned the use of barbed mire <br />in the Village and was informed that the Council had previously <br />adopted the policy of allowing no barbed wire in the Village <br />The contract forms and covering letters from Comstock and <br />Davis and Peter Lametti and Sons Contractors for Schedule B of <br />Sanitary Sewer Project 1965 -3 were referred to the Attorney for study. <br />Motion by La Vaque to allow Sunrise Methodist Church to use <br />the Village Hall on Saturday June 19, 1965 from 12:00 to 9:00 for <br />the purpose of holding an auction. Fee waived. Seconded by <br />Rustad. 5 Ayes. <br />A letter from the State Industrial Commission regarding <br />the ladder on the top of the water tower was referred to the Engineer <br />for study and recommendation. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adjourn.
