Mr. Charles Jackson, Civil Defense Director, reported that <br />the new walkie talkie radio had been turned over to the Ramsey County <br />Civil Defense to replace one stolen during disaster work. <br />Mr. Jackson also reported that 100 to 150 residents aided <br />in Saturdays unsuccessful search for the missing Shoreview girl. <br />Only three unclaimed autos remain behind the Village Hall <br />and owners will be contacted this week to remove them. After their <br />removal, snow fence will be removed by the Ramsey County Engineering <br />Department. <br />The Engineer, Mr. Comstock, reported the following: <br />1. Water table North of Sherwood and West of Long Lake <br />Road is almost five feet higher than normal. Suggested a change <br />order allowing a conduit instead of open ditching.. <br />Motion by Blanchard to authorize the Engineer to prepare <br />a change order on surface water drainage project 1964-1, Schedule A <br />covering the above item. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Meyers reported the following: <br />1. O.E.P. papers signed Friday, estimate cost is $85,000 for <br />debris removal and related items but actual cost may go to $100,000. <br />2. Rep. Karth has indicated that he will give all possible <br />assistance to processing of this application. <br />2. Demolition will be completed this week. <br />3. Rubble removal should be completed within three weeks. <br />4. A resident stopped the contractor on the Arden Avenue <br />Qxtension Surface Water Drainage Project 1964 -1 <br />Motion by Rustad to authorize the Attornry to institute <br />unlawful detainer action against Mr. Adolph Flink and Mrs. Laura Flink, <br />8255 Red Oak Drive. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />5. Condemnation awards made but may be appealed. Suggests <br />3/4 payment to avoid interest charges in case of favorable appeal <br />decisions by any affected persons. <br />Motion by La Vaque to authroize Mayor, Clerk and Treasurer <br />to sign checks for 3/4 condemnation award as requested by Attorney. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />6. An amendment to the mobile home park ordinance was <br />presented for study. <br />7. The agreement between Mounds View and Spring Lake Park <br />,egarding sewer on Hillview Road atWest end of the Village was <br />presented. <br />Motion by Rustad to authorize the Clerk and Mayor to <br />execute said agreement. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />8. An amendment to the building code Ordinance # 15 <br />.vas presented and discussed. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Ordinance # 125. Seconded by <br />Rustad, 5 Ayes. <br />9. A letter from the First National Bank of St. Paul was <br />^d and filed. <br />Motion by La Vaque to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute <br />agreement with the First National Bank of St. Paul naming that bank as <br />-r,iPr agent for the $1,860,000 Bona Sale. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />
