PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />galled to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M. on August 9, 1965 at <br />2401 Highway # 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: <br />Attorney: <br />Public Works: <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Charles La Vaque <br />Perry Malvin <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Eldon Comstock <br />Sheldon Boehm <br />Richard Meyers <br />Walter Skiba <br />Motion by Malvin to approve minutes of July 26, 1965 as <br />presented. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Rustad to approve sub- division as requested by <br />A.L. Ahlstrom - 1645 75th Avenue N.E. affecting L.V. Anderson property <br />at 2031 County Road H, Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Ralph Dickinson, new owner of the local bus company <br />(formerly Anoka - Minneapolis Bus Company) appeared requesting a route <br />change. <br />Motion by Hodges to approve the change requested allowing the <br />bus to travel on Eastwood Road from Sherwood to Highway # 10 and <br />deleting the Long Lake Road portion of former route and to send a letter <br />to this effect to the Minnesota Railroad and Warehouse Commission. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 Aues. <br />The problem of rain washed tar or oil in residents yards <br />along Terrace is a matter between the homeowner and the contractor, <br />Mr. Meyers reported. <br />The Council informed interested residents that they would <br />accept petitions for storm sewer along Terrace Drive to correct the <br />water problem there. <br />The Clerk announced that he had received a petition for <br />Sanitary Sewer and water service for the "E" area of the Village. <br />(southeast corner) <br />Motion by La Vaque to order preliminary plans for Area "E" <br />Sanitary sewer and water improvement from the Village Engineer. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Rustad to rezone from R -1A to B -3 the East of <br />the East % of the Northeast k4 of Section # 8, Township 30, Range # 23 <br />except the North 8 acres thereof and except Norsemans First Addition, <br />and subject to State Trunk Highway &- From R -2 to B -3 the West 150 feet <br />of the East Y of the Northeast % of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23 <br />except the North 8 acres thereof and except that part platted as <br />Norsemans First Addition, with a special use permit for operation of <br />a Mobile Home Park conditioned as specified in the original rezonine <br />of July 6, 1964. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />
