-2- <br />Motion by Rustad to correct the minutes of August 16, 1965 <br />to show on the list of bills "Special Police "ork in place of C.D. <br />work, as these men were acting in the former capacity. <br />Seconded by LaVaque. 4 Ayes. <br />A lengthly discussion on the Pinewood Terrace drainage <br />problem took place with the end result that the maintenance department <br />was directed to clean the existing ditch' and install a concrete catch <br />basin at the end, if necessary. <br />Motion by Malvin to adopt Ordinance #129, the new Civil <br />Defense Ordinance. Seconded by Malvin 4 Ayes. <br />Two or more tornado damaged homes in the Village are becomiAg <br />hazardous and this matter was referred to the Village Attorney. <br />Motion by LaVaque to adopt the Civil Defense Oppera 'onal <br />Survival Plan for Mounds View as Presented. Resolutio #2Q€. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />The possibility of extending Edgewood Drive from County Road <br />H -2 to Highway #10 was referred to the Engineer. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve Licenses. (list attached) <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totaling <br />$10,637.55. Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Skiba was directed to have a pole replaced blocking off <br />the walkthru between Jackson and County Road I to auto traffic. <br />Motion by Blanchard to set the Assessment Hearing for <br />Sanitary and Storm Sewer and street resurfacing including Trunk, <br />Laterals, Lift Stations and maintenance facilities providing sewer <br />services to properties in the area proposed to be assessed which is <br />described below: <br />Every lot, piece and parcel in the Village limits <br />except the area described as C -1 and C -3 as <br />follows: <br />All of the Village of Mounds View in Section 6, <br />township 30, Range 23, lying southerly and <br />westerly of State Trunk Highway No. 10 and all <br />of the lands and area in Section 7, Township 30, <br />Range 23, in the Village of Mounds View lying <br />Westerly of the following described line: <br />Commencing at the intersection of County Road I <br />and Groveland Road, thence south on Groveland <br />Road to its intersection with Bronson Drive, <br />thence west on Bronson Drive to its intersection <br />with Knollwood Drive, thence south on Knollwood <br />Drive to its intersection with Woodale Drive, <br />thence west on Woodale Drive, to its intersection <br />with Pleasant View Drive, thence south on Pleasant <br />View Drive to the south property line extended of <br />lot 60 Knollwood Park, thence westerly along the <br />south property line of lot 60 extended and the <br />south property line of said lot 60 to the west <br />line of said Section 7. <br />
