PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order.by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M. on September 27, 1965 <br />at 2401 Highway # 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Absent: <br />Trustee: <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney: <br />Engineer: <br />Deputy Clerk: <br />Public Works: <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Charles La Vaque <br />Perry Malvin <br />Ingram Rustad <br />Richard Meyers <br />Eldon Comstock <br />Sheldon Boehm <br />Joanne La Casse <br />Walter Skiba <br />The Clerk requested that action on the previous meeting <br />minutes be deferred until the next meeting. Granted. <br />Mr. D. Thompson, a resident of New Brighton, requested <br />water service to his home on County Road H and 13th Avenue, as the <br />New Brighton water lines do not exterâ–ºd this far. Request referred <br />back to Mr. Thompson with advice that he first obtain permission <br />from his Village Council. <br />All Citizens who have insurance claims against the <br />contractor for road oil damage were :instructed to contact the <br />Gleason Company or the Village Engineer. <br />Mr. Hodges reported that the O.E.P. forms regarding storm <br />sewer damage were in the Engineer's hands for completion. <br />Mr. La Vaque read the Planning Commission Minutes for <br />August. On file. <br />The matter of a proposed water line to Mr. A. Simons new <br />building on Groveland and Highway # 10 was referred to the Engineer. <br />The Clerk requested that the Planning Commission seriously <br />study changing the front footage requirements, and Mr. La Vaque stated <br />they would discuss it at their next meeting. <br />Mr. Malvin reported that the Tom Thumb building is being <br />torn down at the present time. <br />A letter of resignation from Harriet Kish, Policewoman, was <br />read. Motion by Blanchard to accept the resignation with regret and to <br />send a letter of appreciation to Mrs. Kish. Seconded by La Vaque. <br />4 Ayes. <br />
