-2- <br />Motion by La Vague to approve the sub - division request for <br />Mr. Larry Ferguson, 7629 Spring Lake Road, subject to removal of <br />garage, recording of final survey and payment of fees. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />A proposal for the developement of the "Johnson Farm" <br />property was presented by Brauer and Associates and discussed. The <br />Council approved (informally) the concept of the proposal and advised <br />the developer of the following Council requests for changes in the <br />proposal: <br />1. Park land not acceptable by the Village. <br />2. As much of designated "P" (public) land as possible <br />be added to proposed lots. <br />3. All efforts should be made to remove Cul -De -Sacs <br />from proposal. <br />4. No variance to set -back requirements would be allowed. <br />(recommended by the Planning Commission) <br />5. Rezoning would be needed on this project. <br />Motion by Malvin to release an impounded weapon to owner, <br />Mr. Koelmdorfer, 2319 Knoll Drive, subject to final approval by the <br />Police Department. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Robert Edmond, Electrical Inspector reported on the <br />regional meeting of the Electrical Inspectors Organization. <br />Mr. Edmond was requested to prepare a report on the Village <br />Hall lighting. <br />The matter of trucks entering Highway # 8 at County Road <br />H -2 area without a flagman or a legal stop was referred to the <br />Highway Department. <br />Mr. Charles Jackson, Civil Defense Director, reported that <br />the shortage of equipment on the new Civil Defense Truck will be <br />handled by Mr. Hodges. <br />Mr. Comstock, Engineer, presented the sewer progress report. <br />Mr. Sheldon Boehm, Engineer, reported on bids received <br />this evening at 7:00 P.M. on road project 1965 -1 and recommended <br />acceptance of the low bidder, Dunkley Surfacing. <br />Motion by Hodges to concur with the Engineers recommendation <br />and to award the contract for Street Improvement Project 1965 -1 to <br />Dunkley Surfacing Company, low bidder on the project. Low bid <br />was in the amount of $37,633.00. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />(Street Improvement Project 1965 -1 is a part of the over all sewer <br />project) <br />A resolution reapportioning certain assessments and abating <br />a certain assessment was presented by the Attorney. , <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />A Resolution naming persons eligible to handle N.S.S.S.D, <br />permit applications for this Village was presented. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resoltuion <br />Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />
