-2- <br />At 8:00 the Assessment Hearing for Street and Water Project 1964 -1 <br />and 1964 -2 was opened. <br />Street and Water Project 1964 -1 is Fourth Street between <br />Woodale and Woodcrest. <br />Street and Water Project 1964 -2 is Quincy Street between <br />Sherwood Road and Hillview Road. <br />The Clerk read the legal notice and attested to publishing <br />and to mailing of notice to affected property owners. <br />There were no objections, <br />The hearing was closed at 8:10 P.M. <br />Motion by RUstad to adopt Resolutio►`# 213 lccepting <br />assessments as prepared for Street and ?`later 3m• • •ment Project <br />1964 -1 and 1964 -2. Seconded by Malvin, 4 Ayes. <br />Several questions were raised regarding the method of <br />assessing the overall sewer project. <br />Mr. John L. Sullivan requested a breakdown of the dollars <br />against each individual assessment. <br />This was referred to the Engineer, Attorney, Fiscal Agent. <br />Mr. Najurski, Attorney for the Skiba property, would like <br />a copy of the final estimates upon vihich the contracts were based. <br />Also the actual cost of the interceptors, Laterals and Surface <br />Drainage individually. <br />This was referred to the Engineer, Attorney and Fiscal <br />Agent. Mr. Boehm, Engineer, reportr_:d that he would submit a report <br />at the next regular meeting if possble, a complete one. <br />The Attorney was instructe to prepare an ordinance <br />allowing partial payments on sewer ssessments within the next <br />thirty clays for adoption at the nex, regular meeting. <br />The letter from Mayor Hodes regarding the assessment <br />roll was read. (attached to afficmal minutes.) <br />Mr. Zane Mann, Fiscal Agent is requested to attend the <br />meeting to be held October 11, 19(,5. <br />Mr. Meyers, Attorney, re ?d the following: <br />AFFIDAVIT OF MAILING - <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard being first duly sworn, on oath DEPOSES <br />AND SAYS That he is and was on September 14, 1965, the duly <br />qualified and acting Village Clerk of the Village of Mounds View, <br />Minnesota, that on said date he nailed a copy of the attached <br />notice of assessment hearing on Sanitary Sewer Improvements of the <br />Village to the owner of each parcel proposed to be assessed for <br />said improvement by depositing it in the United States Mails with <br />postage fully prepaid thereon; that the names and addresses of such <br />owners were those appearing as such on the records of the County <br />Treasurer of Ramsey County as of the date 30 days prior to adoption <br />of the resolution providing for said hearing, except that the names <br />and addresses of owners of parcels not appearing on such records were <br />determined by reference to maps, plats and other documents on file <br />in the Village Hall of said Village, and, to the extent found to be <br />
