or. Ze <br />Subdivision request for Mr. Palner, Eastwood Road, was <br />referred to the Planning Commission. <br />Motion by La Vaque to approve subdivision request for <br />Mr. R.C. Shandorf, 2185 County Road H 2, New Brighton, as requested, <br />subject to filing of necessary fees and papers. Seconded by Malvin. <br />4 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve subdivision request for <br />Mr. D.E. Meckola, 7931 Woodlawn Drive, as requested, subject to filing <br />of necessary fees -and papers. Seconded by Rustad. 4 ayes. <br />Mr. Rustad reported that the Village of Spring Lake Park <br />is pumping water out of Spring Lake in response to demands by Mounds <br />View residents who complained of high water caused by Spring Lake <br />Park, in connection with their sewer project. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve variance request for <br />Mr. A.P. Nelson, 2310 Knoll Drive, allowing 51 side yard set back <br />on west side of property. Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes. <br />Mr. Blanchard reported that approximately 1,500 residents <br />has registered to vote and thanked the Civil Defense men who toured <br />the village with the sound truck, on two occasions, to remind voters <br />to register. <br />The Engineer presented the compilation of figures, requested <br />at the last meeting, for general distribution. <br />The debris at Woodlawn and County Road I was discused and <br />Mr. Skiba was directed to investigate and determine if this was from <br />the tornado, and if it is tornado debris, to have it removed. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolutio a i # r1s 2160 naming office <br />personnel authorized to sign sewer permit ppl c <br />Seconded by La Vaque. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to reset hearing for Long Lake Road <br />sewer extensions to October 25, 1965 at 9:00 P.M. <br />Seconded by La Vaque. 4 ayes.. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses. (List attached) <br />Seconded by Rustad. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted, totaling <br />$224,857.97 . Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bill submitted for $100.00 from <br />Disaster Fund. Check #W 577. Seconded by Malvin.. 4 ayes. <br />The Attorney reported that the Gifford Claim (legal process) <br />was referred to the insurance carrier, who denied coverage. <br />Motion by Blanchard that the Attorney be authorized to pre- <br />pare an answer and defense in the matter of Gifford verses the Village <br />of Mounds View and others including:Walter Skiba, Robert Edmond <br />
