-2- <br />Motion by Rustad to concur with Police Department request <br />and have stop sign installed on 4th Street at Woodale Drive, and to <br />have a "Slow Children"sign installed on Groveland Road, between <br />Highway #10 and County Road I, Seconded by Blanchard. 4 ayes. <br />Mr, La Vaque reported that 24 sewer permits have been issued <br />under the temporary permit resolution, <br />The Planning Commission minutes for October were read and <br />filed. <br />Motion by La Vaque to grant su':division request for <br />Mr. Palmer, 8360 Eastwood, subject to payment of fees and filing of <br />proper papers according to ordinance. Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes. <br />The contractors have been instructed to repair the parks <br />they have damaged with dirt or equipment storage. <br />Mr. Malvin reported that the Hillview apartments had been <br />tagged for uncorrected sewage problem. <br />The Civil Defense Department was notified that, before they <br />could park rescue trucks in the new building, they would have to have <br />some agreement with the contractor as to insurance problems, and they <br />were further authorized to find other suitable parking facilities if <br />needed. <br />The Clerk's Office was instructed to notify schools and <br />news media that, Saturday night would be the celebration night for <br />Halloween in the Village and extra police would be on duty that night. <br />Motion by La Vaque to direct Engineer to contact the St.Paul <br />Water Department regarding a temporary permit to cross their water <br />line at County Road I and Highway #10. Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes. <br />Final permit referred to Attorney for approval before Council action. <br />Motion'by Blanchard to reset public hearing on water project <br />for extension from Groveland Road, East on Highway #10, approximately <br />800 feet, to November 8, 1965 at 9:00 P.M. Seconded by Rustad.4 ayes. <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing on the Sanitary Sewer <br />improvement North on Arden Avenue on Long Lake Road at c :00 P.M. <br />The Clerk read the legal notice and attested to the printing <br />and mailing of same. Several questions were asked and answered, and <br />the Mayor called for objectors, who were as follows: <br />1. Robinson, 8340 Long Lake Road, cost to high <br />2. A. Moschkau, 8330 Long Lake Road, cost to high <br />3. C.K. Nelson, 8310 Long Lake Road, cost to high <br />4. N. Hermann 5054 Long Lake Road, cost to high <br />5. F. Watson Conts. 1409 Willow <br />Mr. Peichel, 8400 Long Lake Road, spoke in favor of the improvement. <br />Acting Mayor Rustad called 3 times for further objectors and there <br />were none. The hearing closed by the Acting Mayor at 9:15 P.M. <br />
