4. The' Civil Service Commission adopted the amendment <br />to the Civil Service Commission rules and regulation ordinance <br />regarding borrowing 30 days sick leave as recommended by the Council. <br />The Engineer reported that sewer lines are being tested. The <br />- soil testing at Silver Lake Road and Longview is being completed. <br />The Attorney reported that Spring Lake Park and Fridley did not <br />adopt the fish house ordinance. <br />A letter from the County Engineer regarding County Road H exten- <br />sion was read. Chies Brothers was low bid for the County Road H <br />extension. This bid was rejected by the County and the next bid <br />accepted. <br />Motion by Blanchard to direct the Attorney to appear before the <br />County Board regarding this matter with whatever information we can <br />furnish concerning our experiences with this contractor. Seconded <br />by Hodges. _5 .,dyes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution 225 garding appor- <br />tionment of Sanitary Sewer Assessments. Sec - .y Rustad. <br />5 ayes. <br />The Engineer was instructed to forward a bill to the Ramsey County <br />Engineer for their share of the culvert under County Road H draining <br />into Lambert Park. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totaling $12,774.40 <br />plus $12,7'T 00 transfer from Water Utility to Bond Redemption Fund. <br />Seconded by Rustad. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses submitted.
