Six duplexes are to be built on a one lot concept. Mr. Piehowski <br />stated there is sufficient area for the six buildings. <br />The Mayor called three times for objectors, there were none. <br />The Mayor closed the hearing at 8:45 p,m. <br />Motion by Malvin to rezone Lots 111 and 112 except the West 1251 <br />thereof, Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition, Ramsey County, subject to <br />51 easement along rear line of property from B -2 to R -2, conditioned <br />on application and approval of building permit. Seconded by Johnson. <br />5 ayes. <br />Mr. Lang reported that he has inspected the roads and found them <br />in poor condition. He will meet with the Engineer and Contractor re- <br />garding the Spring break -up. Mr. Lang stated that he can be reached <br />at 786 -2976 24 hours a day regarding any Village problems he can be of <br />assisstance on. <br />Mr. Malvin read the B & E Patrol report for December. (r)n file) <br />The December Police Report and Annual Police Report was read by <br />Mr. Malvin. (On file) <br />Motion by Blanchard to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute <br />the contract with B & E Patrol for Animal Control during 1966. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 ayes. <br />The Engineer was directed to instruct the Sewer contractors that <br />sewage hauling contracts may be required by the Council if completion <br />dates are not met on or before schedule. <br />The Engineer recommended that the certified checks from bidders <br />whose bids were not accepted be returned, The Clerk so instructed. <br />Mr. Meyers reported that he attended the meeting with the Board <br />of County Commissioners regarding the bids recieved on the extension of <br />County Road H. The low bidder, Chies Construction, did not get the <br />job. The second low bidder received the contract. <br />The Village was served with papers regarding restrictions to be <br />removed from Lots 9 and 12, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition. The <br />Attorney was directed not to appear. <br />The Attorney is preparing a memorandum on the new zoning laws to <br />be presented at the next meeting. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Ordinance # 133 redesignating <br />Fourth Street as Bona Road. Seconded by Rustad. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt ')rdinance # 134 regulating the use <br />of highways within the Village of Mounds View, incorporating, by ref- <br />erence, provisions of the State Highway Traffic Regulation Act and re- <br />pealing Ordinance # 105. Seconded by Lang. 5 ayes. <br />
