Proceedings of the Village Council <br />Village of Mounds View <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8 :00 p.m. February 14, 1966 at <br />the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor <br />Clerk <br />Trustee <br />Trustee <br />Trustee <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Public Works <br />Deputy Clerk <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Perry Malvin <br />Richard Johnson <br />Gary Lang <br />Richard Meyers <br />Sheldon Boehm <br />Walter Skiba <br />Joanne La Casse <br />Motion by Malvin to approve minutes of January 24, 1966 as <br />presented. Seconded by Johnson: 5 ayes. <br />Mr. Rustad, N.S.S.S.D. Representative, reported that the <br />nistrict received one half of the Federal Grant amounting to approx- <br />Gately $433000.00, During the recent two day thaw an extra <br />,000,000 gallons went through the metering station in Minneapolis. <br />she Villages are warned to watch the infiltration because we pay by <br />the gallon for the amount of sewage that goes into Minneapolis. <br />Lexington, East Blaine and Circle Pines would like permission <br />to use the Mounds View sewer system, during the construction of <br />N.S.S.S.D. 18" main through Mounds View. The Attorney is preparing <br />the agreement. <br />Motion by Rustad to enter into agreement with the N.S.S.S.D. <br />for use of the 14" main on Quincy from Hillview to County Road H. <br />The cost of the operation of the Lift Station is to be born by the <br />DISTRICT and the agreement will have provision for sewage storage. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 ayes. <br />A letter from Mrs. Sandra J. McClain was read by Clerk <br />Blanchard (on file). Motion by Malvin to allow the storage of a mobile <br />home at 8468 Spring Lake Park Road for a period of three months for <br />Mrs. McClain. Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes. <br />Mr. A. Nelson, 5373 St. Stephens Street, complained about the <br />large number of digs running at large. The problem was referred to <br />Mr. Johnson. Mr Nelson was advised that he could file a complaint <br />with the Justice Court. <br />The Clerk's Office was requested to post a copy of the bills <br />Al the Bulletin Board in the meeting hall before each regular meeting. <br />Mr. Lang reported that the roads are in terrible condition but <br />some grading is being done. <br />
