Mr. Johnson reported on the open basements in the 5100 block <br />of Eastwood and Greenwood. Mr. Anderson and Mr. Carlson were <br />present and explained the situation at the present time. <br />Motion by Johnson to withold action until April 11, 1966. If <br />no action is taken to cap the basements by that date the Council <br />will proceed under the dilapitated building 1atir< Seconded by <br />Rustad. 5 ayes. <br />Mr. Johnson stated he is still receiving complaints about the <br />dogs on St. Stephens. The residents are not willing to sign <br />complaints. <br />Mr. Lang reported that the work on the roads is not being done <br />as needed. The maintenance bonds have expired on some projects and <br />cannot be enforced. The roads are not repairable due to weather <br />and construction conditions. <br />The Clerk and Treasurer reported there is approximately <br />$10,000 from the 1965 Budget that can be transferred to the Road <br />Fund. We will not receive additional money until August. <br />Mr. Lang requested $1500.00 to repair the roads. <br />Motion by Rustad to allow up to $1500.00 for road repair for <br />county work in area where maintenance bonds have expired. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 5 ayes. <br />Mr. Edmond was referred to the next agenda meeting regarding <br />the National Electrical Code. <br />Mr. Boehm presented the plans and specs for water and sewer <br />1966 -1. Motion by Blanchard to accept the final plans and specs <br />for water and sewer 1966 -1, Groveland Road extension. Seconded <br />by Johnson. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to set bid date, as March 21, 1966 at <br />7 :00 p.m. for water and sewer 1966 -1. Seconded by Rustad. <br />5 ayes. <br />The Engineer presented a change order for Peter Lametti <br />Construction Company, regarding the sewer on Silver Lake Road. <br />(On file) <br />Motion by Rustad to accept change order # 1 for sewer pro- <br />ject 1964 -3 Schedule C, and authorize Mayor and Clerk to execute. <br />Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes. <br />The Engineer reported that no agreement has been reached with <br />Barton Construction Co. regarding Silver Lake Road. Motion by <br />Blanchard to instruct the County to delete from the Barton contract <br />that portion of Sanitary Sewer and Water project on Silver Lake <br />Road between County Road H -2 and Woodcrest, and to direct the Village <br />Engineer to so notify the County Engineer. Seconded by Malvin. <br />5 ayes. <br />
