Proceedings of the Village Council <br />Village of Mounds View <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of <br />the Village Council was called to order at 6 :30 p.m. by Mayor Rustad <br />at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10, March 7, 1966. <br />Roll Call: <br />Mayor I. C. Rustad <br />Clerk L. J. Blanchard <br />Trustee R. S. Johnson <br />Trustee G. K. Lang <br />Trustee P. Malvin <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer S. Boehm <br />Deputy Clerk J. La Casse <br />Public Works W. Skiba <br />The Mayor declared the bids closed on repainting of the water <br />treatment tanks. <br />The Clerk opened and the Engineer read the bids as follows: <br />See attached sheet. <br />Motion by Blanchard to refer bids to the Engineer for tabulation <br />and recommendation for a report at the next regular meeting. <br />Seconded by Lang. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totaling $618,16. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution # 228 appointing <br />I. C. Rustad as the Village Representative to the North Suburban <br />Sanitary Sewer District. Seconded by Johnson. 4. ayes. <br />(Rustad abstained) <br />Motion by Malvin to make to make the N.S.S.S.D. appointment <br />term of not more than two consecutive years by any one Councilman. <br />Seconded by Rustad. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to accept Plans and Specs for Sewer <br />Project 1966 -2. This is part of the original sewer project on Silver <br />Lake Road. Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes. <br />Mr. Edmond, Electrical Inspector, asked the Council to adopt <br />the National Electrical Code as revised. The Attorney was instructed <br />to prepare an amendment to the Electrical Code Ordinance. <br />Motion by Blanchard to hire James Schlicktmann, 2475 Clearview, <br />as a Maintenance Employee, as per recommendation of Walter Skiba, <br />Physical examination required by the Village. Seconded by Rustad. <br />5 ayes. <br />
