The Attorney reported on licenseing of Electrical Contractors. <br />The Village is not to collect for license fees for electrical con- <br />tractors. <br />Spring Lake Park returned the signed agreement for <br />joint sewer installation on Spring Lake Road, Hillview Road and <br />Gloria Circle. <br />Motion by Blanchard to authorize Mayor and Clerk to <br />sign the agreement. Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes. <br />The Attorney was directed to prepare a similar agree- <br />ment with Fridley for sewer installation on Pleasant View Drive. <br />Motion by Blanchard to accept preliminary report for <br />Sewer and Water Improvement Project for Spring Lake Road from <br />Highway 10 to County Road J. Seconded by Rustad. 5 ayes <br />At 9:00 p.m. the Mayor opened the Public Hearing for <br />Sewer and Water Improvement on Spring Lake Road. <br />The Clerk read the legal and attested to the publishing <br />and mailing of notices to benefited property owners. <br />The Engineer gave an estimated cost break down as follows: <br />$ 14.50 front foot <br />130.00 sewer service <br />115.00 water service <br />The Mayor called for objectors and they are as follows: <br />John L. Sullivan - 8368 Spring Lake Road - costs too high - confisca- <br />tory. <br />Rodney Erickson - 8418 Spring Lake Road - costs too high - confisca- <br />tory. <br />Robert McClain - 8468 Spring Lake Road - costs too high - confiscatory <br />Marvin Schluter - 8312 Spring Lake Road - costs too high - confisca- <br />tory. <br />The Mayor called three times more for objections and <br />there were none. <br />Mr. Robert Snider - 8210 Spring Lake Road spoke for the <br />improvement. The original petition was noted with 16 signers. <br />The Mayor closed the hearing at 9:30 p.m. <br />Motion by Malvin to prepare final plans and specs and <br />order the improvement for Sewer and Water on Spring Lake Road. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. <br />
