Mr. Charles Larson requested permission for the Spring Lake <br />Park Lions Club to hold a Carnival on the Johnson Farm, June 20, <br />21, 22. The Council gave a tentative approval and asked the Attor- <br />ney to check the ')rdinances. <br />A resident from Knoll Drive questioned when the roads will <br />be resurfaced and why the oiling was not done last fp11. The <br />Engineer reported that due to the tornado clean -up and heavy equip <br />ment the oiling was deleted and deducted from the contract. <br />At 8:30 p.m. the Mayor opened the Public Hearing on Rezoning <br />all of Lot 59, Auditor's Subdivision # 89. <br />The Clerk read the legal notice and attested to the publica- <br />tion and mailing of same. <br />Mr. Eigenheer stated that his plans were to build a car wash <br />on the north portion of the lot. When the car wash is in full op- <br />eration it will employ 33 employees. <br />The Planning Commission previously approved the above <br />proposal. <br />The Mayor called three times for objectors and there <br />were none. The hearing was closed. <br />Motion by Rustad to approve the rezoning of Lot 59, Auditor's <br />Subdivision # 89 from R -3 to B -3 for the construction of a car <br />wash subject to application and approval of a building permit. <br />Seconded by Johnson. 4 ayes. <br />At 8:45 the Mayor opened the Public Hearing for Water <br />Assessments. <br />The Clerk read the legal and attested to the publishing <br />and mailing of same. <br />This affected "Except the South 200' cf Lit 70, Spring <br />Lake Park Knolls Addition." <br />The property owner, Everette Kuntz, accepted the assessment <br />as presented. This assessment can be paid at the Village Hall <br />without interest for the next 30 days. June 10th it will be <br />certified to Ramsey County for collection. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Assessment Role for Water <br />Project 1960 -3. Seconded by Lang. 4 ayes. <br />The Mayor read a report from the Building Inspector <br />regarding 5344 Clifton Drive. The Attorney has contacted the <br />owner and he will be painting the home shortly. <br />
