Proceedings of the Village Council <br />Village of Mounds View <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 p.m. on September 12, 1966 <br />at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10. <br />Officials Present: <br />Mayor <br />Clerk <br />Trustee <br />Trustee <br />Trustee <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer <br />Attorney <br />Deputy Clerk <br />Public Works <br />Treasurer <br />Ingram C. Blanchard <br />Richard Johnson <br />Gary Lang <br />Perry Malvin <br />Shelly Boehm <br />Richard Meyers <br />Joanne LaCasse <br />Walter Skiba <br />Irene Edberg <br />Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of August 22, 1966 <br />presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes of September 6, 1966 <br />as presented. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes <br />Mr. Kenneth Ballenger reported a drainage problem on Oakwood, <br />between Highway #8 and Quincy. Matter referred to Engineer for <br />report. <br />A subdivision request by Mr. R. Gustafson was referred to the <br />Planning Commission. <br />In answer to a request, Mr. Lang reported that the boulevard <br />--c,as would be finished as fast as the contractor could do them <br />with black dirt and seed, but sod would be put in where it was <br />removed for road improvement. <br />The matter of the 500 feet of Greenwood north of County Road I <br />was discussed. Motion by Rustad to direct the engineer to prepare <br />a change order to have that portion of Greenwood graded up and <br />oil treated. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes <br />Mr. Nelson, 5459 Quincy reported on contractor damage to <br />curbing in front of his home. Matter referred to Engineer. <br />The clerks office was directed to again request a traffic <br />light on Highway #l0 at County Road H, and to request the school <br />board and the bus company to make the same plea to the Highway Dept. <br />A resident requested some type of cover on the drainage ditch <br />on Woodcrest and Red Oak. After discussion,the matter was referred <br />to the Engineer for cost estimates and assessment possibility. <br />
