PRTEEIDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF M'i)NDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on October 24, 1966 <br />at the Village Hal1,2401 Highway # 10. <br />Officials present: <br />Mayor Ingram C. Rustad <br />Clerk Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Trustee Richard Johnson <br />Trustee Perry Malvin <br />Also present: <br />Engineer Sheldon Boehm <br />Attorney Richard Meyers <br />Treasurer Irene Edberg <br />Absent: <br />Trustee Gary Lang <br />Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of the September <br />28, 1966 meeting as presented. Seconded by Malvin 4Ayes. <br />Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes of September 29, <br />1966 as presented. Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes <br />Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes of October 4, <br />1966 as presented. Seconded by Johnson. 4 Ayes <br />Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes of October 5, <br />1966 as presented. Seconded by Johnson. 4 Ayes, <br />Motion by Rustad to approve the minutes,of October 10, <br />1966 as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 4Ayes <br />Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of October 17, <br />1966 as presented, Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. <br />Several residents asked for a complete breakdown of rec- <br />reation expenses and the Clerk informed them that they could <br />obtain this information from the office and that a report would <br />be given at the next re9Ya.ar meeting. <br />Mr. Blanchard gave a report on the 1967 budget. <br />Mr, Dropps requested an emergency sewer hook -up as soon <br />as possible, This was referred to the Engineer. <br />The problem of water standing in the ditch along Silver <br />Lake Road was referred to the Engineer. <br />Mr. Malvin ms directed to investigate the possibility <br />of equalizing on police gas purchases, <br />Mr. R, A, Walger,2091 Sherwood Road informed the Council <br />of the damage to his fence line during sewer construction. <br />This matter was referred to the Engineer. <br />Floyd Bardwell and Jack Kruegen questioned the possibility <br />of an error in their assessment for water. This was referred tr <br />the Engineer. <br />The decision of the Court reguarding the standards set by <br />the Minnesota Water Pollution Control Commission for the <br />Mississippi River was favorable to the District. Standards were <br />declared not reasonable nor constitutional. <br />The Highway Department Resolution reguarding maintenance <br />responsibility for the new frontage road from County Road I to <br />Hillview was referred to the Attorney to request the department <br />representatives presence at an agenda meeting to discuss the <br />matter. <br />
